Sounds like they even got the placement of the bull**** call incorrectly. That legal block happened at the 45. They said the call was half the distance, so sounds like they’re assessing it from where the ball was caught not where the “penalty” actually occurred?

That’s what I also thought. Should’ve been from spot of the foul.
 
They were FACING EACH OTHER!! IT WAS CALLED A BLINDSIDE BLOCK!!
Doesn't matter if they were "squared up" when the hit occured.

Think of it like this, if two guys are running perpendicular to each other, you can't light the guy up.
