Colorado vs USC Game

Can we go back to our astounding stat of an average of zero yards on our opening drives?

That initial drive is the product of film study and strategic game planning. It's the drive that says, "we know where your weaknesses are, and we're going to exploit them until you adjust, and then, we know what we're going to exploit when you adjust, mother****ers."

An entire week of preparation has earned us a combined (and average) zero yards across four games. There have been no first downs and one turnover.

Just think about that.
The first two possessions (or a specific # of plays) are typically what is scripted. Does anybody have the cajones to track down possession #2 stats.

Here you go...

UNC - 3 plays 8 yards (punt)
A&M - 3 plays 7 yards (punt)
MIN - 3 plays -3 yards (punt)
ASU - 6 plays 8 yards (punt)

Grand total of 20 yards, but no turnovers. Some progress I suppose.

What is so frustrating is the commentary coming from the coaches. The offense is clearly broken, and all we hear is 'we will keep working on it' platitudes.
I have a bad feeling the stadium will be all maroon Saturday, and will be half empty mid way into the 3rd.

The coaches are ONE more inept loss away from losing the team. That's my feeling anyway, and the coaches have given zero indication they plan on changing a thing, well any thing that will make a difference.

Think about this - one of the 'highlights' of this week's game for CU is the return of Mustafa, who so over estimated his ability that he declared for the draft and DID NOT get drafted. LOL yeah get excited about a NFL reject 'returning' to the Buffs. JFC doesn't really sum it up how SAD that is.

USC averages 32 ppg and CU 13.8......likely close to a final score.

Coach media availability is the biggest waste of time every week during football season-especially locally. You get nothing from them-whether we're talking CU or Vic Fangio (who doesn't really give Bronco media much). Even with Vance-we still heard about what great Wednesday practices the Broncos had during 6-10 and 5-11 season.

If this thing goes totally off the rails and this team goes 1-11 (possible), Dorrell and staff have to go.

One first down. Don’t be so negative.

If KD was asked about that, he would legitimately say "there's been progress, we just gotta keep at it"

Saw Landman at the Pearl Street thing. He is super relaxed and confident. And, just checked into my hotel and I see that this is the SC team hotel. How much will you pay me to set off the fire alarm at 3am?
Just tie string to connect the door knobs of the rooms to the rooms right across the hall. Most times mischievous practical jokes don’t get the authorities involved…

How is USC’s kicker? If the Defense can pitch a shutout, could it become a battle of kickers?

If nothing else, could a “young” Ralphie play OT? At 500 lbs, she could move a a couple bodies to open up that edge for the run game
