Just reaffirms we badly need some of those DL to come through. 1 this class would be a huge failure on our part.

I didn’t take it as anything but then playing jokes on each other. Either way this is old and he clarified and said nothing to worry about.
As I'm going through the profiles in our Index, one thing I'm noticing that I strongly believe got us off to a slow start for 2018 is that we had an inordinately high number of early offers to Florida and Georgia recruits. That was the defensive staff that was replaced (Clark, Leavitt, Tumpkin) due to it being where they personally had most of their recruiting connections, but it is outside of the recruiting footprint for the CU targeted geography. Pretty much all that work was lost and it was a complete reset.
That, and El Paso didn't produce any DL this year.
Since I won't get anything done today at the office as has become a custom the day before and during NSD, I've decided to try to fish some tailwater nearby (for my health). No cell service in the canyon. Have fun today boys! I'm signing off to go throw the gear in the truck!
Hiring coaches with connections outside the footprint compounded the issue.
Fair, although, I think it's clear that Brown was a positive recruiting addition to the staff.
I think Brown has been a good addition to the coaching staff. More just pointing out existing relationships inside the footprint are valuable.
Arias tweeted later that this was just a joke, or something of that sort.

I went into the list and still 40th and tied for 6th in pac. Must be doing it wrong. No "That's what she said" retorts. ..
