I don't agree that celebration implies intent.Ok- "celebration" implies intent. Prove that Horn's intent was celebration.

Easy peazyOh yeah? Do you want to explain, subjectively, why it was taunting?
Hint: if you can't do so, this is why the taunting penalty is stupid and unevenly applied.
Thanks for mansplaining. But it doesn't mean it's right. That Iowa State call there was about as bad as you get. Horn's call was also bad and that rule needs to change. There needs to be a distinction between a taunt and having fun and it shold be penalized afer the play or on the kickoff, but not a point of foul call. It's not the same thing as a holding call and shoujldn't be treated as such. One happened during the course of a play, the other didn't. The TD being taken back was no different than a holding call keeping a TD off of the board.
His fingers were pointing up, not at the opponentEasy peazy

Check out this video that Uncle Neely dropped on Thee Pregame Show today. At 1:15, it shows Senior Defensive Coach George Helow making halftime adjustments with the linebackers and DBs in the cramped and chaotic TCU visitors locker room. He was a great pickup for Colorado, after similar stints at Michigan, Georgia, Florida State, and most recently Alabama. It's worth the 120 seconds of your life. The rest of the video has some interesting sideline content.

Miss me with that mansplaining BS, the rule is the rule whether you like it or not. I don't like the rule bit that doesn't matter. Thanks for mansplaining. But it doesn't mean it's right. Doing what Horn did at an opponent is taunting under the rules.Oh? I didn’t realize horn “pointed his fingers” at the opponent. Did he do that?
In fairness, Shilo's grab was in reaction to the other guy doing something which was unsportsmanlike conduct and went uncalled. I don't generally get as upset with that, but sometimes you have to take that bull junk to avoid getting baited into a penalty.Regarding the taunting and unsportsmanlike conduct penalties which Colorado receives every game--Just don't do most of that Bulljunk. I agree that some of the calls have been ticky-tacky, but don't take your helmet off on the field, team leaders Shedeur and Cam; or throw a sign while your TD run is still going on, Jimmy; or tripping a guy on the sidelines, Shilo. These things will draw penalties every time. It hasn't affected a game outcome so far, but it sure could going forward.
I agree with you, but the other guy's callable but fairly minor transgression was unseen by the officials, and Shilo's ankle grab/trip retaliation will be called 100% of the time. Just don't do that. Be smarter, and just get up and play. Penalties which occur due to hand gestures, one's mouth, and unnecessary activities after a play is over are absolutely preventable. In fairness, Shilo's grab was in reaction to the other guy doing something which was unsportsmanlike conduct and went uncalled. I like watching highlights of Deion Sanders high stepping with his arm behind his head, I like watching Jimmy throw the peace out sign speeding past someone who can’t catch him. That stuff is fun. I like watching Travis and some competitive guy push each other after the play and then give each other a low five. That is sports. You beat someone you let him know. He beats you he lets you know. Taunting can be respectful as well.Regarding the taunting and unsportsmanlike conduct penalties which Colorado receives every game--Just don't do most of that Bulljunk. With that, my impression is that the attitude from our Buffs is that the taunting, smack talk and celebrations are all in fun and in the spirit of competition. They seem to enjoy it when the other team gives it right back in the same spirit.I like watching highlights of Deion Sanders high stepping with his arm behind his head, I like watching Jimmy throw the peace out sign speeding past someone who can’t catch him. Fail. Fail better.
The good news about the fourth-down finger wag in the endzone is set up that great goal line stand, so there's that. With that, my impression is that the attitude from our Buffs is that the taunting, smack talk and celebrations are all in fun and in the spirit of competition. For example, I don't think that our guys would feel it was unsportsmanlike if someone wagged a finger after breaking up a pass or flashed a "peace-out" on the way to the end zone against us. I think they'd see it as part of competition and the show.
