CU at Texas Tech 11/9 @ 2pm MT on FOX

Wish ISU wasn't in the same time slot so I could dedicate all of my attention to rooting for them to lose.

Looking at the score prediction thread you all are alot more confident than I am. Lubbock is an underrated place to play, they lead the Big 12 in scoring and we all know how good Brooks is. I know CP has us focused on what can be accomplished but at the same time there's been a lot of talk nationally about CU over the past week and how we're suddenly a legit contender to make the CFP. I still think we win tomorrow but am a bit nervous about this one.

I'm nervous, Lubbock will be hostile and it feels like a trap game of sorts. IMO, just don't get down 2 scores early and allow crazy fandemonium into the game. The Buffs need to come out with intensity, play very physical, attention to detail, and not have a "bye week hangover" (ie. slow disjointed 1st half). Just play confidently like a 4-1 league record team w/ 1 close league loss. Sort of play like a veteren team of sorts.

The best part of the past 2 away games was scoring early, playing physical defense (even if they did not always get stops, they still shut down a bunch of plays), and not allowing the TOP to get totally skewed (defense on the field a bunch) in the 1st half. The O scores some points and even if the defense gives up some early points, if feel if the Buffs play physical/confident that CU's size, depth and talent will eventually take over the game. The longer the game goes on, I feel the Buffs get stronger. KSU could match them physically, Baylor had all the ST's yards or that game was not as close, even though they broke some big plays.

Go Buffs. Let's get them down early and just keep them down.

Inbound flight got sent back to the gate with a mechanical issue. Still not resolved. I rebooked myself on the next flight which hopefully has a plane that is actually reliable but now I won’t get home until after halftime and that’s presuming everything goes smoothly for the rest of the day.

Wait. I’m outside your place right now. Where are you?

Only thing that really worries me about this game is two fold. One, if that running back of theirs starts going off, we are in deep shvt. Two, CU never plays worth a damn in Lubbock for whatever reason.
