Hell yea!
We're BACK
Hell yea!
Cal has about a billion reasons to want to keep a football team around. With the way college football is heading toward super conferences I wouldn't be surprised if those 2 just decided to de-emphasize football and decide they don't want to be part of all that.
I'd be lying if I said that one of my top 3 reasons for wanting an SEC invite is "Watching Duff process complicated feelings on the board when Auburn mudholes CU and/or CU sneaks an upset and torpedoes Auburn's SEC championship aspirations."
Pfffft..... When this happens yo ass better be rooting for the Buffs when they play that one school..... or else......
Nobody else torpedoes Auburn's championship aspirations. We do that to ourselves.
God I hope so.Please tell me this is nothing more than window dressing
Les is winning the thread!Yeah that’s what I’ve been saying too. I hate the chummy pity party back in the Pac. Give us hatred, give us entertainment
RG would be pulling a Tucker by saying we’re committed to the PAC-12 then leaving in the same day. Please tell me this is nothing more than window dressing
Utah released the same statementPlease tell me this is nothing more than window dressing
Something tells me we are going to f*** this upPlease tell me this is nothing more than window dressing
That’s probably not good news

Big 12 offered all the Dr Pepper we could drink.Hmm. Seems fishy to me. I wonder if the big 12 offer was that bad, or if another offer is materializing (hopium). In any case, I have to believe discussion have been ongoing.

They have to say this at this point and it’ll be very easy to later say “we were very committed to finding a solution within the Pac12, but we reached a point where that became impossible and we needed to explore other options for sustaining our AD goals. “
Yep. Can't go to the B12 negotiations table looking like you're desperate and have no leverage/options. Especially when each of the Pac 4 mentioned are worth more than most of the Big 12 members. This is high stakes poker. Take everything with a mountain of salt.
