CU players in the NFL

Me too.

Going to bring a lot of exposure and eye balls to Boulder though. Really helps his teammates get a look from scouts and coaches as well.
Most if not all of those eyeballs were going to be in Boulder anyways. Teams that are considering spending a top 5-10 pick on somebody are going to take every opportunity to make sure they have all the information they can get.

May bring more media attention though which never hurts the program.

Obviously, I hope they all do, but I think Wester has the best chance. Wester just has great lateral quickness that Horn doesn't have, imo.
Wester will get some coaches attention because of his abilities as a returner. Both are smallish but Wester with a little more weight could also contribute on coverage.

Horn has Wester by at least 10 pounds. I can't remember the exact numbers. I think Horn is 178 and Wester 163.

Official combine measurements were Horn 5'8" 174, Wester 5'10" 163. That given I think Wester has more potential to add weight.

The NFL loves measurables and the 5'8" is going to scare some teams off.

Both had good punt return stats in limited opportunities (Buffs only had 17 punt returns all year in 24) but Wester had a 76 yard TD that will pop on film.

I was shocked. Really expected him to run mid to low 4.3’s
Expected him to be faster than he was, he still has the B12 pro day and the CU pro day to post better times.

This is a part of the crazy that is the NFL though. There are certain teams that will take him off their board because he ran a 4.46 instead of a 4.40 or below, there are some others that will take him off the board because he measured 5'8".

Those teams will then draft somebody who looks great in shorts and a t-shirt but has never put difference making plays on film. Two years later they will draft another one like the first one who won't make it either.

He and Wester may be quicker than fast, Wester especially. Running in the high 4.4s is definitely surprising. I thought for sure they were both real speed demons.

Football speed vs. track speed. A good example Courtland Sutton of the Broncos ran a 4.54 at the combine, with his age and injuries I would guess he would run something in the 4.6 or even 4.7 range now yet he still manages to get open deep.

What neither Wester nor Horn have though that Sutton does is 6'4" 216lbs. The size for them is going to make much more of a difference than 1/10 of a second on their 40.

It's going to be interesting to see what kind of times Sheppard can put up. He has shown an ability to win 50/50 balls, catch fades in the end zone against coverage, and catch tough balls in the middle of the field. He also has the kind of size that makes him a candidate for coverage teams. Of the three he may actually be most likely to make an impact in the league even if he doesn't have eye catching 40 times.

FWIW the odds increased for Ward as #1 overall pick and he’s the heavy favorite now.

Shedeur is 4th as betting favorite behind Carter and Hunter

The Browns are hosting Shedeur and Hunter today (along with Abdul Carter)

If either were to resurrect the Browns that would be cool

Yeah. Right there with the Packers, Giants and Colts as the premier franchise in the early days of the NFL. Maybe the #1 with all those titles with Jim Brown and Otto Graham. Been a minute since they were thought of in that way.

They would be legends

Landman signed a one year deal with the Rams.
He really shouldn't even be playing considering his injury history but he is and is playing effectively.

The hesitancy to sign him for longer than one year is understandable but he has missed a total of 4 games in the last 2 years while starting 23 games. Hopefully he can have another solid year and get a longer term deal in the near future.

Rams leading tackler at ILB left this year in free agency (to the Panthers) so Nate should have an opportunity to play a lot.
