The recruits will watch the Buffs as much as UCF. With a good game, we might pick up a couple. Maybe CP should have a few of his big name friends from Fla on the sidelinesI'm sure it's just a coincidence that they're having their biggest recruiting day when CU is coming to town. You know most of those kids are coming to see Prime, Shedeur and Travis.
I remember there was controversy about that with a recruit at Michigan-OSU recently. But it happens all the time. I don't know if you'll ever get a report that meets your standards for "credible", though. I mean, what coach or player is ever going to make a statement on record that the OV was bogus?have their been credible reports of recruits accepting an OV from one school just so they can become more familiar with the visiting opponent?
none, I would imagine. but I wouldn't be surprised one bit to hear a recruit/player make that statement... I mean, what coach or player is ever going to make a statement on record that the OV was bogus?
Wonder if any of the soccer players can kick that far? They're already on scholarship.
Years later, maybe.none, I would imagine. but I wouldn't be surprised one bit to hear a recruit/player make that statement
Not only can he kick, but I hear he is a pretty good tenor as well.
We're really gonna hate his theme music. Not only can he kick, but I hear he is a pretty good tenor as well.
Last year, I think there were reports of TCU recruits trying to get selfies with Prime. I hope UCF brings in a bunch of LB and OL for us.have their been credible reports of recruits accepting an OV from one school just so they can become more familiar with the visiting opponent?
I recall those reports. but I don't think they went so far as to suggest those recruits accepted TCU's OV just to see CU.Last year, I think there were reports of TCU recruits trying to get selfies with Prime. I hope UCF brings in a bunch of LB and OL for us.
Ruh Roh. That kid is azz.
There’s a big difference between Official Visits and Unofficial Visits. I doubt any recruits are using OVs to UCF strictly to see Prime, but there are likely 30+ unofficial visitors who reside in Florida and are taking the opportunity to check out the Prime show in their back yard.I recall those reports. but I don't think they went so far as to suggest those recruits accepted TCU's OV just to see CU.
That still makes me shudder. Very much a CU-Stanford vibe with that game.
My youngest was a soccer player, but joined the football team as a freshman in high school. He served as the kickoff specialist for the freshman team and put 90% of his kicks into, or out of the back of, the endzone. I think he was kicking from 5 yards closer than the college kids, but there is literally no excuse for any D1 college team to have any kicker on the roster that can't put one to at least the goal line.Wonder if any of the soccer players can kick that far? They're already on scholarship.
Pretty lame that only 1 of 5 of our PKs, can hit what should be routine kicks
Our DBs will have ZERO trouble with their WRs and TEs. ZERO. We know what they can do and what they're going to do. Run the ball. If it were me, I'd sit Shilo another game, bring 5-man pressure all day (the fifth coming from the weak side primarily), and play a 2 deep/4 under zone package so we have as many eyes on runs and scrambles as possible. We got creased by QB runs this past game, but we were maybe not expecting them to do that(?). Better expect it this week. DBs gonna have to ball out on an island. Hope it is dry for SS2, he could have a big day through the air.
We seem to be wedded to man coverage, no matter what. I expect KJ Jefferson to put on a show and CU will be in another "gotta hero ball it to win" at the end type of game. Our DBs will have ZERO trouble with their WRs and TEs. ZERO. They won't do this, though.
NOTE: FWIW I trust RL more than anyone on the staff.
I agree. And i do think there are a few players on the soccer team who could do it. We had Katie for a couple of years. My youngest was a soccer player, but joined the football team as a freshman in high school.
