Two plays in 6 seconds?
The game clock started about 2-3 seconds late on that first playTwo plays of in 6 seconds?
I don't hate the call either. We bitch and bitch about not being aggressive. The fumble sucked, but I hate the conservative kneel.
All good. I was confusedBefore the fumble
Stupid comment
My bad
Running the ball up the middle is not exactly being aggressive. Best case you pick up 5. Worst case, well...I don't hate the call either. We bitch and bitch about not being aggressive. The fumble sucked, but I hate the conservative kneel.
Aggressive would have been throwing the ball to try to get another score with 1 minute left at the start of the possession.I don't hate the call either. We bitch and bitch about not being aggressive. The fumble sucked, but I hate the conservative kneel.
Best case you pick up 5? Brou had three of those over 50 yards last weekRunning the ball up the middle is not exactly being aggressive. Best case you pick up 5. Worst case, well...
After the 8 yard run on first I don't think they would have burned them. If they do and CU punts it's still 1000x better than a fumble on your own forty. The only problem with just taking a knee is Utah had all 3 timeouts.
point taken, you are correctThey weren’t aggressive. They let the clock run down to 16 seconds and weren’t running an aggressive play. That was ****ing stupid in every respect.
Right. They could’ve bled more clock even after the first down run. Utah wasn’t calling a timeout then.Aggressive would have been throwing the ball to try to get another score with 1 minute left at the start of the possession.
We ran ****ing dive plays. The decision was to be conservative.
Only thing I can think of that would explain KD's thinking was that Utah had 3 timeouts and KD didn't want to have to punt in this weather.
Nobody takes a knee there. Can't fumble and have to make sure that is drilled in your RB's headThe only problem with just taking a knee is Utah had all 3 timeouts.
Always risk in any decision. Maybe on 2nd down when there’s 12 seconds left and Utah isn’t try to stop the clock, that’s when you kneel, but it’s all hindsight. Nobody questioning the call if Brou hangs onAggressive would have been throwing the ball to try to get another score with 1 minute left at the start of the possession.

The field conditions and the opposing DL are totally different.Best case you pick up 5? Brou had three of those over 50 yards last week
BUT, Utah wasn't using them. Running the ball on 1st down is fine, kneeling on 2nd down was the right move. The only problem with just taking a knee is Utah had all 3 timeouts.

If he hangs on, they likely take a knee on the next play anyways.Always risk in any decision. Maybe on 2nd down when there’s 12 seconds left and Utah isn’t try to stop the clock, that’s when you kneel, but it’s all hindsight. Nobody questioning the call if Brou hangs on
