Here's what I had heard:
1. There has been an offer on the table for some time, believed to be to an NFL coach
2. Said coach expressed interest and conveyed the offer would be considered upon completion of the season.
3. They felt they had a high likelihood of closing this coach, thus the lack of activity for weeks
4. Will be highest paid DC in CU history.
