The question is how fast are they traveling? How much weight are they carrying? Are they looking to sight see a little on the way out? Are they taking 3 meals a day? What time are they calling it a day? What time are they starting on the road? Do they have a small bladder and must stop to pee every 2 hours? There are many factors beyond just who the candidate is and some excellent lines of questioning you are all failing at.

which for some people is a 2 day drive.

Personally I have made it from Co. Springs to stl in under 12.

My mom can't sit in a car for longer than like 9 hours.

Just because it can be done in less than 24 hours does not mean it is necessarily a 1 day drive.

I think it'd be a cool touch if they hid the new DC behind a food cart at the luncheon and then announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, we present our new Defensive Coordinator" and move the food cart.

Football scoop makes it sound like hiring Tumpkin as DBs coach is underwhelming. I think a mid major DC coming in as DBs coach is a pretty solid move.
