The funny thing is most other sports are in decent shape. Football is the only train wreck and holy **** it’s bad.The AD needs to shutter or be invested in. Tomorrow
The funny thing is most other sports are in decent shape. Football is the only train wreck but it's by far the most visible and holy **** it’s bad.
I am accumulating Moses like savings to fade Colorado in those games.I personally cant wait for the last 4 games of the season. I want to see absolute scorched earth, salted field, biblically epic thrashing at the hands of the last teams as they vie for postseason positions
I would love for CU to be merely embarrassing. We should strive for embarrassing. Embarrassing would be refreshing.I am just saying we are in "beyond embarrassing" territory. The choice will be pretty easy in the end.
Take every cent in your portfolio and 10x leverage on USC -70I am accumulating Moses like savings to fade Colorado in those games.
This is worse than I even anticipated.
Not even a pair of cargo shorts loaded with cash could fix this disaster. This program is truly dead.
I thought the choice not to hire a guy named Karl Dorrell would’ve been pretty easy but boy was I wrong on that oneI am just saying we are in "beyond embarrassing" territory. The choice will be pretty easy in the end.
I want him fired as much as the next guy... But enrollment numbers are down and the AD is on a death spiral of buyouts. Nothing will happen this season

I prefer the harder stuff like a speedball of Ketamine and a baseball bat to the dome. Almost makes the games palatableI walked for a sixer of Voodoo. Gas station prices.
The fridge beers didn't produce the necessary numbness or blackout.
But it doesn’t make any bit of financial difference, so I don’t see why they should wait**after the season.
I think that if Colorado has a horrible season, I think there’s a strong chance that they can negotiate a much more favorable settlement amount than if they fire in-season.But it doesn’t make any bit of financial difference, so I don’t see why they should wait
Fair. How much longer does Dorrell want to keep getting personally embarrassed, though?I think that if Colorado has a horrible season, I think there’s a strong chance that they can negotiate a much more favorable settlement amount than if they fire in-season.
This is exactly the reason I’m so hyped for our final stretch of games. 0 chances for moral victories. 100% chance of pain and AD leverage (if RG even understands that concept)I think that if Colorado has a horrible season, I think there’s a strong chance that they can negotiate a much more favorable settlement amount than if they fire in-season.
Wait...do we have another shot at the food cart?“He is killing our program and ability to earn revenue for years in the future and we don’t have enough money for the buyout” is the equivalent of “the food is terrible and the portions are too small”
If they fire him in-season, I think it gets acrimonious and he goes for all of what he is due. Nobody will touch him for an HC or OC job, so NFL position coach salary will not offset the buyout by a significant amount. If they let him go after the season, they can say that they gave him a full season with his staff and his players. Just wasn’t good enough. Need to win now.Fair. How much longer does Dorrell want to keep getting personally embarrassed, though?
As long as he's getting paid?Fair. How much longer does Dorrell want to keep getting personally embarrassed, though?
Whatever. Makes no real difference to me I guess. Saturdays have freed up quite a bit, regardlessIf they fire him in-season, I think it gets acrimonious and he goes for all of what he is due. He’s already made like $12m over the last 3 years. At some point, your lasting legacy being the guy who coached CU into incompetence might not be worth sticking it out for a few million extra, especially when you are going to reside in Boulder the rest of your lifeAs long as he's getting paid?
What incentive does KD have to negotiate? Genuinely asking, because as I see it the contract is so ****ty for everyone but him, he gets paid regardless.I think that if Colorado has a horrible season, I think there’s a strong chance that they can negotiate a much more favorable settlement amount than if they fire in-season.
Does anybody know how the buyout is paid out? Is it all at once a la Sumlin at I think A&M or does he keep collecting checks like MacIntyre did?But it doesn’t make any bit of financial difference, so I don’t see why they should wait
