GAME THREAD: Buffs @ Bruins

2 great games in L.A. from King. 2 really solid games from Bey, steady efforts from Namon in both games too.

UCLA only played high effort for about 10 minutes of this game. Good on the Buffs for accepting the gift.

Great job fellas! George had one of his best games as a Buffalo, and amazing what happens when you take care of the basketball. Serious question-Why can't this team make the NCAA tournament now?

Very nice. Buffs stayed focused. BTW, Alford needs to do some ass-kicking/motivating.

After the Oregon trip I would have believed it if someone told me that we'd only see 3 Buffs wins in the conference this year. I'm shocked that we're already there.

Time to assert that this could be a tourney team by dominating the Washington teams next week.

Most bracketology sites have the Pac12 getting 3 or 4 tourney teams at this point.

It's possible that this could be a tourney team, but with the loss to San Diego at home and no real signature non-conference wins they'd need to be at least 10-8, probably 11-7 or even 12-6 in Pac12 play plus a win or two in the conference tourney. That would require winning out at home and picking up 2 more road wins. Possible, but tough.

San Diego loss isn't that bad of a loss. Honestly, the Iowa loss might hurt us more.

Love this team, but it would be a stretch to make the Big Dance without a potential PAC 12 Tournament Championship, which is possible! Would not mind seeing a deep NIT run, or even an NIT Championship, that would pay huge dividends for next year, where this team could be really freaking good!!!

You could be right the RPI is a fair bit lower for Iowa, and I guess that it was a "neutral" game. Still, that was a crummy home loss by 10 points though.

This felt a lot like the 2010-2011 season, but that team didn’t have any road wins let alone a good one. We are in uncharted territory now.
