Games thread-MEN'S BBALL opens season hosting UC-Riverside (Monday, 11/7/22, 6:30 MT) & at Grambling (Fri, 6 MT) & #11 Tennessee (Sun, Noon MT)

They were one of the worst teams in basketball, and they've got a double digit lead at halftime.

Stop talking about the officials, dumb****. CU deserves to lose this game right now.
 
I've never been a coach, but I'm guessing it's pretty common for a coach to see a young player in practice show skills, that he needs some game minutes, before he shows those skills regularly in games. I do know, that Tad sure knows what he's doing, and if he thinks LL should be out there, I won't argue.
Except for a couple of guys, the whole team stinks tonight. G is hustling, we are flat.

Those "Hess" toy trucks look pretty cool

Again...you can lose by 50 and still say the officials were bad. You need to stop with the dumb ass cliche of "don't blame the refs".

We're not losing because of the refs, but they're still having a bad day. Get it?

You need to stop talking about them. I honestly don't want to hear that they're having a bad day. I don't ****ing care, and neither should you, Medford.

All I see is CU losing by double digits to a program that was one of the worst in the sport last year. Nothing says we're a big time CBB program like a performance like this.
 
I hate these games. For all the positivity with this program, losses like this are a punch in the gut. But we tend to overreact.

No, we can't.

No one even a little bit interested in playing team ball.

Zero leadership on the entire team.

This loss is more embarrassing than ANY loss the football has has in the past 3 years.

TDS might as well have stayed in Boulder
 
this team has no elite talent - Da Silva and Clifford are just pieces. I absolutely hate Lovering’s game. He was a huge liability on both ends of the court. And Ethan Wright is a waste of a scholarship - too unathletic to play at this level.

Agreed about Lovering, dude is Ben Mills but actually might be worse. Doesn’t really do anything well.

I have faith in Tad but don’t feel too good about this team.
 
This is a good team that will be very good next year, but not sure what Tad was thinking about Lovering being a starter?

MUST get an athletic 5 transfer next year and hope our super Freshman can play. Love Gabbidon
 
SILVA and CLIFFORD have to become THE leaders of this team. This crap cannot happen. Have to grow up now boys.
 
Sure could use a shooter...

I can't imagine how Hurlburt could be a downgrade from Lovering.

We suck at kicking it out to open shooters...which may be by design given our 23% from three.

After this debacle, we need to tighten up the rotation.

I'm comfortable with the following players.

Simpson
Hammond
Gabbidon
Hadley
Clifford
O'Brien
Da Silva

Tad needs to give everyone else a real long look in practice because they're providing nothing.
