Games thread- Men's Bball scheduled to host #15/16 USC (Thurs., 1/20/21, 5:30 PM MT, Pac 12 Network) & #9 UCLA (Sat., 7:00 PM, Pac 12 Network)

Dunno if TV caught it, but Battey grabbed the mop and mopped his own sweat off the floor after taking that last charge.

Then stadium chanted, “Battey.” It wasn’t for the charge. It was for mopping.

You just don't get it.. He is essential to this team, or Tad (obviously) would have redshirted him. A lot of ignorant "fans" here tonight.
 
Between Mobley and number 1, they should have about 12 offensive fouls on throwing the hook on post moves. That last one against KJ was the most blatant.

Oh come on. Everyone is pulling for him. But you have to admit he’s frustrating to watch. Be real. He air balled one from 10 ft. He had a rebound come right to him and seated it to an SC guy rather than just grab it.

THIS x100000000000000000. Mobley is garbage. That’s his whole game. Absolutely will not work in the NBA which I don’t think his game is built for.

USC’s defense is suffocating. Guard play just wasn’t good enough. Most I can remember us getting dominated on the glass ever. If you’re in this thread harping about Lovering, you’re a ****ing clown. Andy is a douche.
 
What’s going on with Jabari? He’s having a rough stretch. He must’ve been stuffed at the rim 4 times. He just seems out of sync. Certainly teams target him. And USC was just really tough on D.

Nobody on CU was able to get anything done in the paint tonight. We're used to Jabari being the exception to that against a team like that & rely on it. Tough night on offense & on the glass.
 
Considering the USC defense and rebounding advantage, it's amazing that we were just 2 fairly easy missed shots away from winning. Good effort against a team that was top 5 last week. This team is like the 2017-18 Kin freshman team. They will also develop into a special team! Man, that jam by Clifford was awesome!

Anybody who knows anything basic about college basketball in general and this team in specific knew this was going to be a year full of growing pains. You lose a 4-year starter at PG and only have young talent behind that in college basketball - you will have a rough season.

Check out the preseason prediction thread consensus on this team was that we would be up and down all year because of the age and construction of the roster.

Please go back to complaining about the football team.
