Is sustained success even possible at CU?

Because there are still Buffs out there who haven’t gotten their turn running the program. Honestly maybe that’s our pitch to recruiting assistant coaches: “come to CU, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll get to be HC here someday once you have CU of your resume.”
^^^^This says it all CU's next coach will come from G5 or DII.
Bohn grabbed a straw to appease the base, it was short lived and furthered the belief among potential coaches going forward it wasn't going to further their careers....having CU attached to their resume wasn't a positive for almost 2 decades.
Best of luck arguing to argue but I don't believe most Buffs would disagree.

In other words in your way of thinking CU would've lost to KU with Cabral as HC?
Which hire afterward played out to be better?
Huh? I’m wondering why CU needed to hire Cabral for a couple years to buy time for a longer term hire? Why couldn’t they just go do a national search like a normal program and hire their long term coach immediately?
