How old are you?

What does that have to do with anything? I support having a diverse coaching staff and I think most folks here would agree. More important, the guy seems highly qualified. Let's give a big welcome to Coach Drake and root for his success!

Nik, my question was what did CU2x's age have to do with anything? Maybe I missed some inside joke. Anyway, looks like a cool hire to
me, and frankly, coming from an era in which the Buffs had a lot of good athletes from south Texas and Louisiana, I like that connection. I get the idea of a "footprint" but I think it can be fluid depending on results.

Welcome Coach Drake!!!

I believe he has the right tools to be very successful and be with us for at least a few year. If he can recruit the Southeast, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma area, we are in good hands!!! I like his age, enthusiasm, and I hope he is smooth on the Twitter thing, and those other Electronic Devices.

We got Falo back, damn it let's play some ball!!! 2018 feels a little like 2016...

Have him focus on the Southeast and Houston. Intriguing hire. Let's bring back Umu and Julmisse now.

The "connections" is being overplayed; a small part of the criteria, IMO. What matters most is whether this guy has the energy, enthusiasm, charisma, and is able to get high school kids excited about CU (and of course, close on them).
Yes exactly what I said. You are welcome Shrek.

The Southeast, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas... any other areas you want him to hit?

Boulder is maybe the most lily-white town in college football. Another black on staff will be nice when black players are considering CU (someone will say that's crap - but it's true) Seems to have good energy and personality. Wishing him well
More lily white than SLC? Grow up.

Important to note Kwesi Drake bio:
Defensive Line Coach Beauregard High School 2016 Alabama 5A Football State Champs.....Auburn Tiger Alum (1998-2002) Football Defensive End. Phi Beta Sigma Inc.
Never hurts to have inroads into high level talent.

Seems like he will bring change at the very least, new energy is a good start for that group. His connection to LA (Was a coach in two different New Orleans area schools Tulane and Saint Augustine), is very interesting and I think could benefit us immensely as that is a deep talent pool that LSU largely controls. I would like to know if he has any connections to recruits currently still available for 2018
