LAVISKA SHENAULT IS A BAD BAD BAD MAN

QB is different when it comes to that stuff though. The physical freak at the combine stuff doesn’t carry much weight. His film, interviews, and board work are going to decide where he gets drafted.

Daniel Jones also had the Cutcliffe factor in his favor and ran a true pro style offense. To this point, Montez has run mostly a gimmick offense with majority screen passes and has been mediocre while doing so. He’ll have to prove himself all over again
Izzat you JaMarcus?

Like Shenault, Montez is going to wow scouts at the combine because of his physical traits. Unless his stats scream he is a head case and can't run an offense, he is going to get drafted highly.

I mean Daniel Jones just got drafted #6. Montez is comparable in his two full seasons as a starter, if he continues at his typical rates, he will exceed Daniel Jones in just about every category that the scouts value.
Should he end up in the first round? Don't think so. Will he? I think there is a pretty good chance of it.

It only takes one team to fall in love with him and his physical tools could make his easy to fall in love with. Look at what Elway had with Lynch, a big tall guy with a gun and no clue how to run an NFL level offense. Rumors were that if Denver didn't pick him somebody else would have later in the round.

Montez will likely be a third rounder if he does reasonably well this season. With his size and arm he'll get paid to be on an NFL team, which is not bad.

To be clear, I wasn't suggesting that Montez will have any higher stock after a stellar season by Viska. Most scouts will know Montez has ridden Shanault's freak ability.

Maybe just me, but @Liver 's use of "bad bad bad" in this thread title always strikes me as out of character for who he portrays on Allbuffs.

Montez' and Viska's stock for the draft do not go hand in hand. They are correlated sure, but one is most likely going in the top 10 while the other would be lucky to make it into the 1st round unless he runs this new offense extremely well and gets us to a bowl game.

You may be pleasantly surprised at how well Viska runs the offense.

Shame he couldn't have spelled his name correctly, but still great to see so much hype around Laviska.

The guy could honestly play WR or RB in the league and that's a rare ability even for the elite athletes who go to the NFL. Assuming he stays healthy and has another banger of a season, there's no reason for him not to be a top 10 overall pick, IMO.

Nebraska, the stupidest state in the Union since 1867.
Sorry I missed this, that is ****ing hilarious, on point, too. As far as LaViska, I've said it before, he reminds me of Fitz. Body type is similar, and they both make plays. We are a lucky fan base to see this young man work. He's one of the best CU players I've seen.

I really think he could excel at the next level in that H-back roll the Patriots used to use Hernandez. You can literally line that dude up anywhere and its a match-up problem.

He’d have to put on about 30 lbs to truly be as multiple as AH was, but a team like the Pats would certainly be able to move him around and get creative

Had to look it up, but I've seen Viska listed at 6'2" 225. Idk, if he'd have to put on 30?
