Well, most of us have pretty much felt that LSU was the best team in the country except for QB most years for the past decade or so. I think this season puts an exclamation point on that opinion.

I'm ok with it being targeting. What I'm not ok with is the automatic ejection.

Basketball refs can handle two levels of fouls; there's no reason football refs couldn't - especially with replay.

Targeting 1 = 15 yards, just like an unnecessary roughness.
Targeting 2 = 15 yards + ejection.

Anybody who says something good about basketball referees gets a like from me
