Maybe some scouts will start looking to Boulder for talent too.Maybe some future guards who had never thought about CU were watching last night.
When faced with the choice of rooting for the hometown team or the team with a CU Buff, you always go Buff. Go Spurs!

**** THAT! They're paid pros now, and I'll root for them every other week/game. But against my Broncos or Nuggets - I'm rooting for the team. The team is always above the individuals, and I'm rooting for the team. I hope DWhite and the Spurs all struggle mightily tomorrow in a lopsided Nuggets win. If Viska gets drafted by an AFC West team, I hope he gets 0 touches every time the Broncos play his team. CU Alum can go off against ever other team aside from the team I'm rooting for. Again, Team >>>>> Individual Players. **** the spurs........

Derrick White had a great year with the Buffs but is sort of a limited fellow alum with only 2 years of school. Sure he’s a Buff - and a Coloradoan - and the way he was dissed makes it satisfying to see his success - but he’s now a pro and will leave SA in a heartbeat if & when he gets an $$opportunity$$. He’s in a new ballgame now (literally). And I’m fine with that. Go Nuggets!!I will ALWAYS cheer for a CU player over my favorite pro sports team. A pro sports team is a business, and the owners can take their team to any other city they choose when they feel like it.
A CU player is a fellow alumn, and we will always have that CU connection. They can never NOT be a CU alumn.
UCCS and CU both have University of Colorado on diplomaDerrick White had a great year with the Buffs but is sort of a limited fellow alum with only 2 years of school. Brooklyn is just getting started. I think they'll be good for years to come. The thing with White is that I only got to cheer for him 1 season and it was a season that frustrated the hell out of me with the team performance. He was great and he’s been a great Buff alum, but I don’t have those same memories of joy like I do with Spencer, Dre or even Alec. I’m not as emotional with the Spurs as I would be about Brooklyn going on a run.
That season was absolutely wasted on DWhite. So disappointing that was his only season in B&G. He deserved better than that. The thing with White is that I only got to cheer for him 1 season and it was a season that frustrated the hell out of me with the team performance. On to the final
The European journey took Higgins from Russia to Turkey and then back to Russia with CSKA. Now, Higgins is currently playing the best basketball in his career and has won everything there is to win in Europe.
An NBA return and trying to establishing himself in the league could be the step for Higgins.
“I know I can play there [NBA], of course,” Higgins said to Eurohoops. “But I’m going to explore everything and pick the best situation for my family.”
Askia can’t stop hitting game winners- this time, in the Drew League.
