NBA (and other pro league) Buffs

Stats say she played 3 minutes and had 1 steal in the last game. So someone needed a blow in that game.

I think sweeps are rare but the statistics no team has ever come back from being down 2-0 since they went a 5 games

"Best-of-five playoff series were introduced for the WNBA Finals in 2005 and expanded to the league semifinals in 2016. In that time, every team that has ever fallen into a 2-0 hole in that format has wound up losing the series."


The four best teams are left. Right now the Liberty control their destiny to the Finals.
 
Obviously I don't know French. I knew it was Cholet, but I was not able to understand the language.

Peanut Tutile is playing in Europe, too. A Spanish speaking country. Not sure if it is Portugal or Spain.

They speak Portuguese in Portugal. And large parts of Spain speak Catalan.

If they win a ring this almost guarantees her another year in the league, likely on the same team but even if it isn't it is very rare for a player who was a part of a championship team to be out the next year. If for no other reason than coaches like to have people around who "know how to win."

She is good enough that she really deserves a spot in the league anyways, even if it is as a bench player, but getting a ring really helps.
 
There will be an expansion draft. Of course, Jaylyn will not be protected.

I still like that Jay didn't get up when she got cut in the spring and took the advice she was given to get herself a spot on the team.

At some point during late August, she said she was actually supposed to be in Denver started on another master's degree. Don't know if she is doing that online or if that has been postponed.
