Couldn’t the same be said for all of our coaches? All Rod does is reach for G5 tackles and lightly recruited guards. Guy has to go after this year

Local high profile high school O-Linemen and local blue chip women basketball players have been consistently avoiding CU for some time now. Gets kind of discouraging. I blame the turnstile coaching staffs in the football program and the lack of tournament appearances in women’s hoops....2022 Tackles in Colorado is ridiculously good. Even Better than the last two years
and we might get shut out!
fitzpatrick Texas lean
Miller Stanford
Jones Michigan verbal
Gray Arizona lean
miikula blowing up got his first Sec offer
Weahtrby a maybe.
if we just controlled 50 percent of the tackles in the state. We would be loaded.
Since 2016, I count 7 starting tackles on P5 or high G5 rosters and 16 on the two deeps.
I spent way too much time on this but it’s worse than I expected.

See CPVbuff’s post #500 in this thread....I count being healthy and in a two-deep on a P5 team, or a starter in a functional G5 team as a “major contributor”, just for definition’s sake.Outside of Dan Skipper, I can't recall of sny blue chip OL that have left Colorado that has been a major contributor at their school in the last 5 to 6 years. CU has done reasonable well in the last 3 years. We have gotten Wiley, Lee, and Johnson. I know it will be controversial. But I think the local OL talent is over rated. Yes there are some studs like Jake Mikula(sp) but overall the talent pool is not as good as recruiting California or Texas.
Eh, guy is big but was getting torched in the Spring Game by Justin Jackson. He has a long way to go until he’s ready to be a starting Tackle and CU clearly didn’t want to wait around for that, which is encouraging, IMO.I was really hoping this guy would develop into something.
the next post we will read about Senn will be “with the 35thpick in 2025 Draft The Kansas City Chiefs trade up to select this Austrian nightmare of a Left Tackle. He dominated the competition at UConn.

DJ Oats gone?
FifyValentin Senn transfer was expected. He had all of the physical size and that's it. Just have to develop some kind any kind of technique. But glad to hear he landed on his two left feet at Uconn.
Next best thing to being on a golf scholarship.A lot of pressure at Uconn to defund football program... Of course, if that happens, the school generally honors the scholarship for the duration which is how I received 4 years of free undergrad education while never appearing in a game in that sport. Winning!
Nothing about the Wray pickup?? Weird.
Maybe check the thread dedicated to his transfer?Nothing about the Wray pickup?? Weird.
NoMaybe check the thread dedicated to his transfer?
Figured it’d be more of a portal thing than recruiting. My bad.Maybe check the thread dedicated to his transfer?
Should have never played defense. You can't convince me you cant find a way to utilize a guy with his speed and quickness by finding a way to put the ball in his hands.Good attrition. Not a P5 prospect. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him land FCS
It's not like defense is a second tier position. I think there has been an elite athlete or 2 that played CBShould have never played defense. You can't convince me you cant find a way to utilize a guy with his speed and quickness by finding a way to put the ball in his hands.
I'm saying nothing about his film suggested he should play defense. Corner back is the hardest position to play in football aside from QB, and QB is hard because of the mental aspect. It's not like defense is a second tier position. I think there has been an elite athlete or 2 that played CB
CB suddenly a question Mark. Only 4 CB’s with experience (one of which is Stryker).
Luckett was a CB, which is why this is a little concerningThat 2019 class of So. Calif kids really has not worked out.
Luckett and Trujillo now transferring after playing a lot of ball as true frosh. They seem to have lost favor with the post-Tucker regime.
Braedin-Huffman entered the transfer portal last year (and has not emerged anywhere that I can find).
Pohahau transferring.
Leaving just Perry and Rodman from that area left.
While Luckett looked to be talented, I'm not sure how he'd have gotten touches in the crowded WR field we have. We can only have so many WRs.
