Official 2018 Fall Camp Thread

I actually think the drills are pretty fun to watch. So organized and you get a chance to see who flashes in them.

The scrimmage is so vanilla that it will probably be more vanilla than you expect. They run some hurry up/situational stuff and work on getting guys on and off the field quickly, but the players and coaches are usually pretty competitive and it’s hilarious and awesome to hear how pumped Els and ShaDon Brown get.

It’s a great excuse to get inside Folsom and the fall one is even better since the freshmen play too.

I could watch one on one lineman drills all day lol

Those who have gone in the past, is this scrimmage worth going to? Mostly, is it a legit full speed /contact scrimmage or a lot of walk through stuff and kind of boring? I'm just a little gun-shy to make the drive up with MM's history of dumbing down open practices.
From MM's comments in his post-practice addresses this week, the format looks like it is:

1. Warm-ups and practice drills.
2. Vets getting a series or two. (MM said players who have done it just have to show once they can still do it, but coaches can protect & save them for the season).
3. Guys who haven't played much and fighting for playing time or even starting jobs get a lot of work today.

I really wish I could go. You ****ers better write up some good reports.

Is it me or are we getting burned a lot? I know it is vanilla blah, blah, blah but if that is the case shouldn't we be at least competitive. Wide receivers are blowing by DB's. Color me worried.
