FSU hires Memphis' Norvell as new head coach
Mike Norvell, who guided Memphis to a win in the American Athletic Conference championship game on Saturday, has been hired as Florida State's new head coach.
Pretty nondescript coaching carousel so for. No Urban or James Franklin to USC, no Brian Kelly to FSU. This biggest news so far is Kiffin to Ole Miss.
Klatt just mentioned Tony Alford from Ohio State may be the #1 target for CSU. Good hire and another African American coach!!!

Doesn't matter if he's African American, Asian, Caucasian, Hispanic, or otherwise - bottom line is is he deserving of the job. And sounds like he's worthy of a job like CSU.
I guess - no coordinator experience and no real advancement out of RB coach. What kind of staff can he build? Why hasn't he been given more looks?
Maybe he is great, but seems like a nostalgia, 2nd tier hire to me. Graham, Mora, even Sark seem like much, much better options.

Just all the random internet speculation and the fact he has said publicly he’d be interested in that job if it opened. I just don’t see Jason Garrett surviving and I think they will target a top offensive guy
