I can’t figure out why CSU (or UNLV) hasn’t jumped at the opportunity to hire Graham. Best available candidate, by far.

I had family close to the situation at Indiana when it all went down... locker room was a disaster and lots of players threatening to transfer out.

BUT Wilson has a lot of respect from the fans in getting the team back up to speed. The offenses were a blast to watch and the team would come out and punch opponents in the mouth. It wasn't that bad a lot of people were pissed at the way Glass handled it but it seems to have worked out now. He's just old school a couple players bitched about it. Its kinda like when Shenault would go to the sidelines hurt and Tucker would kinda give a glare like get the f*ck back in there. :)

I listened to a podcast interview of Graham, and he said he had offers last year, but he’s being very selective for the right “cultural fit” and “geographic fit”. He went on to say that he was most comfortable in Southwest/Southeast having been at ASU, Rice, Tulsa before. He also wants a place that’s got a lot of local talent to recruit. For those reasons, I don’t think CSU is the spot. The only G5 spots I think he would take would be colleges in Texas, or the South, but that’s all a guess (watch him be announced at CSU tomorrow).

He's a guy who makes sense at UNLV I would think? Maybe UNM?

Would you say he is waiting for his dream job?

Anything is possible, but I would think UNM would be really unlikely given all the headwinds there. UNLV maybe, I just think Graham sees himself as playing on a bigger stage.

UNLV and Aranda couldn't get together last night and make it happen. (Saw that from multiple sources.) Footballscoop has an update. Arroyo being talked up everywhere for the job, not just by Rittenberg. Looks like it's gonna happen.

UNLV: Adam Rittenberg tweets that LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda is not expected to be the next UNLV head coach, noting that the two sides talked but no offer was made. He adds that Oregon offensive coordinator Marcus Arroyo remains a strong candidate.

P.S. I took a look at Arroyo's bio and saw a name I hadn't thought of in a while. He worked for Todd Monken at S. Miss when he resurrected that program. Monken's only 53 years old and has been working for the past few years as an OC in the NFL. He'd be a great hire for someone if he has any interest in returning to the college game.
