Official 2023 Bowl Games Thread

So we have the #1 seed (Michigan) favored by 2 points over the #4 seed (Alabama). Meanwhile, the #3 seed (Texas) is favored by 4 points over the #2 seed (Washington).

But Duff is right and all the people betting on the games are clearly wrong.

Georgia would be favored over every team in the field.

I have never argued that Alabama is better than Georgia.

Like I said above, I would have at least respected the committee's decision if Georgia was the pick over both FSU and Bama. Instead they weirdly put Bama in and dropped Georgia BEHIND Florida State at six. Laughable.

FSU objectively earned a spot to the playoffs. Everything else is just conjecture.

And before Hawg jumps in with "protocol"...please remember that Hawg asserted that various stages of selection used clear standards, but then admitted that those standards aren't openly shared, and committee members can use whatever criteria they select.

You are emotional. You can’t make your argument using the criteria. That’s OK. Whining and spurious arguments are allowed. And so is some of us calling you out on it.

Is Georgia one of the best four teams in the country? Yes or no?

Laughable? They just beat them.

You lie. Those criteria are published.

That's not what you said in the other thread.

In fact, I didn't particularly care about the argument at all and didn't engage until you presented arguments that were so stunningly stupid and contradictory I felt compelled.

You don’t understand the difference in each individual member selecting their Top 6 and the Committee selecting the Final Four. You proved that in the other thread. No need to play here.
