She’s been the worst Ralphie we’ve had. Does that make her a terrible animal? No. Just a terrible Ralphie.
 
Ralphie I was just a random buffalo they decided to trot out into the field one day. There was no training program. This really is ridiculous. We have known for multiple years (not just last year, ever since Ralphie VI debuted) that she was not cut out for this. This is a surprise to exactly nobody, and we are heading into the season without our mascot? Major fail. I don’t know if this is on RG, Prime, or somebody else, but there’s no denying somebody (or multiple somebodies) dropped the ball on this.

Exactly what I was thinking. Like, who is the ****ing moron in charge of the worst live mascot in all of college football. Because that’s what Ralphie was and now there is no Buffalo?!

You’ve been overpromising and underdelivering for a half decade now. You have one job. Literally one. Run a Buffalo.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. You fail at the single one job you actually have. And it’s totally cool. No problem. Maybe a new one will be ready this year. Maybe next.

In no real organization would that be an acceptable outcome for the human whose only job is to not let that happen.

It’s like, my wife the surgeon, you really have one job, “do surgery and don’t kill the patient.” So I ask her at the end of the day, “how’d today go?” And she says, “I killed all my patients again today.”

So I reply, “it’s all right. Maybe sometime this fall or next year, you’ll have a patient live through your surgery.”

That must be the conversation which the Ralphie program people.

I sort of think with the Peta stuff, they maybe minimized the Ralphie program some. That happened before Prime was here, and probably not a football decision. Certainly, Ralphie VI never needed the # of handlers as Ralphie V. Maybe this season we just trot out a yearling Bullock with a full cadre of Ralphie handlers and see where that gets us?

Let’s start pulling some scholarships for the “Ralphie Handlers.” Hit that portal and let Prime bring in a Louis Ralphie program.
 
In Fall Camp news… elite 5th year Senior dual threat cube KSalt won over his peers and the coaches on his way to earn the starting job for the Colorado Golden Buffaloes. We’ve got a Leader who is also a Dawg at the most important position.

Combined with the personnel upgrades we’ve made on the OL, our offense has an insanely high ceiling.

Hey now! It takes time. They have to write a job description. Get that approved by BR (Buffalo Resources). Put out the advertisement. Then I herd they had a protest from some male candidates since the job description had a female only requirement.

Then BR has to whittle all the candidates down to a short list. Then interviews, background checks and finally an offer.

Then the long process of training, like speed work, entering the trailer at full speed, posing for photos, etc.

And the successful candidate will be young so that trainers can get him/her used to people. But he/she won’t be allowed to work because He/she will be under aged.

Takes time.
