My new favorite "Sko Buffs!" shoutout was yesterday in the lobby of my office's building in Irvine CA. It turned out that the young professional dude was in the same class as my daughter and is friends with her and a bunch of their mutual friends from circa class of 2018.
 
I was driving home from winter park today and going past green mountain reservoir. Someone had used driftwood to spell out SKO BUFFS on the bare slopes of the reservoir. Fresh snow acted like a highliter and I could see it from several miles away
 
I gave a “SKO Buffs!” To a group of college age students in Buffs gear, last month, when I was in Vegas at The Flamingo. My daughter was pretty excited (she’s 9), and my wife was not aware of what was happening. The group returned the SKO.
 
Ok, maybe not the best thread for this post, but I am seeing dozens of Go/SkoBuffs watching the live stream of today’s graduation ceremonies. So cool to see the joy on students faces as they enter Folsom. If they only knew that many years later, they will realize they should have extended their time at CU 😵‍💫.

I remember myself and peers saying things like "I can't wait to be done with school and start my life" and now wish I could slap my younger self upside the head while screaming "Follow the Van Wilder plan, you dumbass!"

I had a college buddy who entered CU a year after me but graduated a semester before me. For over a decade, he would bring it up occasionally like he had some type of moral win over me. I never even bothered to reply.

Then one day, he said “I actually think you got the better end of the deal spending 5 years at CU vs. my 3.5 years.”

Yeah, no **** Sherlock.
 
Porto, Portugal yesterday. I was walking down a street and two girls starting yelling something to me in Portuguese. I turned and said excuse me and they started speaking in English and gave the buffalo horn symbol and said that they saw my hat and both go to CU.
