For some amusement I went to a fusker board. Their rivals board.

Some grumbling about Frost but the delusion is still amazing.

Most of them blaming it on the refs. "Worst officiating ever." "This conference hates us and will never let us win." "We were right there with them until bad calls game them the game." and more.

Maybe the biggest fantasy is that "We are a much better team than last year." "We are a couple recruiting classes away from being back." etc.

Wonder what excuses they will make next week after getting ripped by Wiscy.

I don't. There was one question with NU: Would they cover? Nobody outside of Lincoln thought they had a chance to win today.

Melvin on the other hand........that was such a #relentless performance today. Maryland might be the only game they've got a shot in. I bet Kaplovic is wishing he was still here.

I'm always happiest when the polyester pansies lose. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy seeing some others get beat as well.

Don't think that the people choosing Rutgers beating Movin' Mel signifies that we don't hate the corn anymore. It is just that we all knew that tOSU was going to ream them, it was just a question of how badly.

Most of us expected Rutgers to be Rutgers and give MSU a win. Seeing Mel start his legacy there with a solid loss to the worst B1G school of the last decade was a pleasant surprise.

cant wait for them to play Wisconsin. It felt like fall again yesterday! I didn’t Like that they scored first. I imagine they were starting to think of being ranked #1 ad all of their delusional dreams of a national championship. ...... and then, welcome to reality!! Thank you Ohio State for the last touchdown too.

one question- Nebraska complained so badly about their schedule. but doesn’t the other division in their conference actually have the best teams?? Indiana beat Penn State. They seem to have a brutal schedule. They didn’t whine and complain. They just went out and won.
 
I saw nothing wrong with the last touchdown.

  • Ohio State is playing to get into the championship, style points matter.
  • They scored while giving a Freshman QB playing time.
  • They didn't call a pass play. (not that would have made it a problem)
  • Nebraska, like every Scott Frost team, quit. Leadership?
On point 2 above, young 2nd team QBs need to get some PT so they are ready if Fields goes down, right HCMM?

Yes, their complaints were that they got both PSU and OSU for their cross-conference games and they also got OSU then Wiscy in games 1-2.
That second point favors the underdog. Nubs get beat by 50 in 3 weeks at OSU.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaa.

BTW, after they get handled by Wiscy next week, they travel to Northwestern who put an exclamation point on a 47-3 asskicking yesterday vs Maryland. Now that probably says more about what a terrible head coach Maryland has than anything else. An 0-3 RedNub start would be glorious.

Yeah, so weak to complain that your first team can't stop their 2nd team.

Remember Nub fans, you are the ones who proclaimed that you were the toughest ones in the B1G and that the CoronaVirus didn't scare you. Strap on your equipment and go get the cheddar pounded down your throats next week. Your AD is all tough guy in August and giant wimp after game 1.
