Official ****braska Hate Thread

Nebraska is one of those schools that the current state of college football has kind of passed by. it is looking like you can maybe lump them in with once powerful programs like Pitt and Miami as places that will never get back to where they once were.

Heard a crazy number the other day especially if you said this about 20 years ago:

Tennessee, LSU, Penn State, Michigan, Nebraska, and FSU are a combined 7-19

Northwestern, Purdue, Indiana, Liberty, Coastal Carolina, and Marshall are a combined 28-0

That comparison is unfair to Pitt and Miami.

Both are programs that have fallen substantially from their glory days but both, especially Miami, have the potential to get back on top. Pitt is in a major population center where players don't mind going and they have a lot of talent available in their area. They also play games in areas with a lot of talent.

Miami multiple times in recent years has been solidly in the top 25 including some weeks in the top 10. Florida is one of the three richest talent pools in the nation and the idea of living in Miami sounds great to a lot of high school kids. The right recruiters and the Hurricanes are right back in the top ten.

Nebraska falls way short. Lincoln holds none of the appeal of Pittsburg or especially Miami. No vibrant African-American community (Omaha has a Black population but it is not a cultural center,) no music scene, no abundance of attractive females, certainly nothing resembling a beach.

Instead Nebraska offers a sub-par university, Soviet era architecture which is appropriate for their Siberia type winters, and cornhole and cow tipping as the major recreational attractions. (Actually in Nebraska meth is the major recreational attraction but that's another issue.)

Right after my last post, PSU QB fumbles the football and is returned for a TD. Signing out of that game.

Still time for the nubs to choke the game away. Pedo State though looks like they are somewhat clueless though.

Never a bright side to the fuskers winning but it would be fun to see the fighting sandusky's end up at the bottom of the B1G.

And a win over a pathetic PSU team may be enough to add another year to Frosty's time there.
