Such a fun win. Montez showed a lot of grit, especially with the beating he was taking. And Laviska is in the Travis category of freak athletes. Just otherworldly.
I was a fan of Adrian Martinez. I think the kid had a lot of heart. But he had to be one of the all time leaders for horribly timed turnovers in NCAA history.

I can’t find it, but I also love the photo from that game where you can see Jay scoring a TD on the short rub route and his dad celebrating on the sideline. Cool McIntyre family moment.
Those first 4-5 games in 2018 from Viska was unbelievable.

I have and they awkwardly laughed and then agreed with every criticism I have of nubville.
Nobody stuck a dagger in his own fanbase like Martinez. It was almost automatic, game on the line, clutch time, Martinez fumbles or throws a pick.
Couldn’t happen to a better fan base.
When Frost said of Burrows, “You think he’s better than what we got?” he meant that from an opposing fan base perspective.

The only ones that seem a little out of historical range are ucla and msu; the rest seem to be well within expectations.
