As every Gopher fan and player has told us, the team is happy Sanford is gone. And we HIRED THAT POS!!!
It's not hard to see why. D is just as big of a problem. My God, it's like 7 on 7 except you can't tackle. Our defense doesn't either so it's not much of a difference. :D

Sneed caught a ton of balls at Baylor
MLC is a talented kid that actually stayed on board and stood up for Dorrell
Tyson tore up camp and will be sought after transfer
And yet all 3 run terrible routes and can't get open...

This is worse than the Embree years
I was thinking the same thing, which is hard to fathom ... that wasn't our rock bottom.
If you are 35 you don't remember the Fairbanks years when he went 7-26 including consecutive losses to Drake.

KD reminds me a lot of Fairbanks. A guys who was at the tail end of a career and just coaching for a final paycheck before retiring.

Both spent their time (past tense on KD assuming he gets fired soon) detached from the program, not putting the time or the effort into recruiting, into leading or motivating. Both built staffs that were more based on personal friendship than on coaching competence.

Certainly different eras and different numbers but Fairbanks left CU in a bad position financially, with a ruined roster, and with significantly reduced fan interest.

It should be noted that Fairbanks, one of the worst coaches we ever had was followed by Bill McCartney who became our most successful coach but it took multiple years to rebuild the program and very importantly McCartney had an administration that insured that he had the support he needed to be able to win.

How good your WRs are doesn't matter if your QBs can't throw for 50 yards between them.

Again, how bad does this have to get before CU doesn't have a choice but to fire Dorrell.
