Defense giving up two 3rd and 9 plays and 4th down this drive, come on buffs, keep them out of the end zone
 
27-14 at the half ... I'll take it. Just be sure to shut them down on their first possession of the 2nd.
 
Great drive there to get 3 before half, not a good job with time outs .

Offense playing great, defense needs to start getting 3rd down stops.

Can't let cal get a td to start second half.
 
Man, Stefanou is SOLID. Doesn't have the booming leg of Crosby but it sure looks like we're gonna have the luxury of a very good kicker the next 4 years that is almost automatic inside 45 yards. The vast majority of college teams don't have that.

Nice comeback by Montez so far, most accurate long balls he's thrown all year. Probably the most complete half of football we've played this year sadly, now please lets not blow this...

He might not have Crosby's leg, but how many ever have? I think Stefanou has some distance in him that the coaches, rightly, haven't made him showcase yet - that 39 yarder was halfway up the net, so an easy 10 more yards, maybe 15, could have been possible. Have seen that with most of his kicks; he certainly doesn't just squeak them through.
