Official Colorado vs Minnesota game Thread

What I want to know is how exactly did we squander the momentum from 2016? It looks like we're plummeting right back down to 2009-2012 levels of incompetence. I won't stick around for something like that again, and I'm willing to wager most people here won't either.

Interesting. Explain your logic here.
Langsdorf is “old school” and I feel like Lewis is now going through the process everything phase and is incapable of being himself. I coached youth through college soccer, and coaches can overcoach the talent right out of kids. Lewis is a Dual Purpose QB, and apparently Langsdorf is gonna try and tyrn him into one.

Just got done editing my daughter's soccer game video. They played like ****. But at least they ****ing scored once. But they are a U12 team with some U11 and U10 players. No excuses for the ****show the Buffs put up today.
Your daughter’s team needs to fire the coach. Duh.

Not sure I agree there-Lewis let it rip in the Alamo Bowl LY because he knew he had nothing to lose when he went in. It wasn't like he was going to get yanked if he threw a pick. This year's on DC and not DL because DC is the one with the play sheet in his hand-Hell, I'd be for giving Langsdorf the play calling for the remainder of the year (after Chev gets demoted OBV). I'm not sure how he can call a worse game than what we just watched.

The recruiting issues start with the previous staff's one class here and the way Mel Tucker left here. If you want to have that conversation, I'm down-but recruiting didn't magically go downhill the minute Dorrell got here in my view, and the way I read a fair amount of posts on here-that's the view.

No. His time here's a factor in the recruiting conversation too-because that 25th ranked class or whatever it was he put together in 2019 clearly isn't that good. When we're wondering about kids like Lewis, Clayton, Rice-that needs to be taken into account.
That’s not the conversation anyone is having, at least not me, which you responded to

Langsdorf would call slow drop back stuff too

shoot, let Hagan call plays

Well somebody needs to take over the play calling.
Jersey Shore Thank You GIF

Bad take. Colorado got whipped by a better, more well-coached team today.

The game wasn’t fixed. The under was an immortal lock that I gifted to all of you.
We got mauled, but hey manhattan won money guys! I think I see what @Gary Indiana is talking about now.

Apparently a Clemson player was on a nationwide Dr. Pepper commercial today. It’s over. College football is ruined IMO.

Mel Tucker's 1st season salary at CU was $2.4 million. His 2nd season salary jumped up to $2.7 million.

Dorrell started at $3.2 million and bumped up to $3.4 million for this season. He's set to make $3.6 million next year, $3.8 million in 2023, and his final contract year (2024) is $4 million.

As the most outspoken RG critic on this board I’m gonna shock everyone here and say that him giving KD that much cash is fine*. Statistically, we will have to hire a new coach every four years (quick google search says average tenure is 3.8 years). It’s easier to convince a BOR to jump to a $5 mil a year salary from $4 mil a year than it is from $2.8-3 mil.

* - this is pending the buy out/severance language not being stupid which we’ve NEVER had any issues with while RG has been AD.

(I have to stay a little on brand)

You bet it?

I had that bet in as soon as I saw the total-but that was before manhattan started talking about the under in this thread.

That's why we have a thread dedicated to trading bet ideas IMO. I don't want to hear about manhattan winning money in a thread after an ass-whipping like the one we took today. Its bad form on his part-and more that I really don't give a ****.
