Official Construction Update Thread

Ahh. I see to the left on the existing stadium where the flagstone is "framed" in the columns and beams. I guess they are carrying that look across.

Not exactly

Once they put on the other elements to the wall system, the columns will be behind the stone.

I was on a job where a guy rolled a cherry picker and died. But then, he rolled it off a 60 ft high spillway tower. I'll bet the guy started sliding in the mud or sinking in the mud.

Blue: Interior framing appears to be almost finished. Openings in the front have been framed, I would expect to see more rigid insulation go up soon.
Green: Interior framing starting on 2nd floor
Orange: Final level of steel decking going in

Blue: Excavation continuing, appears to be getting close to completion. They dug deepest against the south edge and are now leveling it out as they work their way north.
Green: Concrete structure coming in under the "Buff Walk" and looks like concrete walls going up around the area to be the new weight room.
Orange: Exterior starting to take shape. Can see wall cut outs for windows and bump outs being framed and insulated

I really hope they do an open house once this thing is finished.

If you have donated any money to the facilities fund, you will be able to get a tour soon. The Ad called me to thank me and offer a tour when they get closer to being done. Hope they do an open house too though

Host an open house to all season ticket holders when its done. Get them engaged with the program.

I have only donated to the Student Athlete Excellence Fund. I'll have to make a donation to the sustainable excellence fund.

I still hate the donation website.
I hate the extra step of selecting your donation and then paying them now (that should just default or maybe two links: recurring donation and one time donation).
Then I enter in all my info (why do I have to do this when I have an account? This can already be filled in from my account)
and finally I hit submit and it logs me out DOH, so I get to log in and do it all over again.

The BB practice facility open house wasn't restricted to season ticket holders, don't know if it was just buff club or not.

I Should be covered now. season ticket holder, buff club member, and donated to the facilities fund.

Could be the lighting, but that looks like a matte black helmet with the traditional CU logo - or an even larger traditional CU logo - on it in that sample locker.

Its the matte black with oversized white logo they wore at USC this past season.
