It appears construction is about to place final superstructure on IPF. That is really something! We are going to be under roof by the time we get back from Hawaii (before more likely). Truly amazing progress on this whole project. Hats off to the guys moving concrete, bricks, and steel. Thank you Rick George! And administration for making this happen. Part of a huge huge turnaround in support from within. Now lets get the fans re-engaged and get this bus back on the highway.

That is my assumption as well. The Contractor has a completion date they have to meet and unless CU caused a delay, the Contractor is on the hook. I bet we paid a premium though. I wonder what liquidated damages are?
I have a buddy that works for mortenson and he said that extra $13 million of costs was actually just because of the rapid timeline and cu incorporated a lot of penalties for not having them complete for the season opener and stuff like that. Not "soil costs" or whatever they tried to say it was.

Don't think I have said anything, but every single picture of the auditorium that is exactly what I thought -- it's quite small. Very nice the pictures didn't do it justice. Thanks.
9 window sections, plus huge end sections with no windows. They currently have two window holes in.
Yeah someone should post the video Bryan McGinnis posted of it. Sorry I am at work and do not have access to social media.

"upon further review"...... Yup. More likely we are into PAC games to get completely under roof. Can't wait to eyeball their progress. Heading up to see it this upcoming week. Exciting stuff.
I wish, but I doubt we will get it. The only interesting exterior work going on is the IPF. However even that exterior work is going to be wrapped up sooner than we expect. In the next few days they will reach the halfway point on the roof of the IPF.
Not sure what these are for, but they sound cool

They had signage in the entry way to the locker room that said "COLORADO FOOTBALL" and it had a white backlight behind it, looks pretty sharp.
Will add a bunch of signage like this around the new facility.
