They just followed a 4-8 season with a 1-11 season.

Every player, coach, staffer and administrator has to own that and be obsessed about getting that loser stink off themselves. Because that odor is no longer allowed anywhere near the building.

So everyone is considered someone who needs to be replaced until they prove otherwise.

But I think he did it the right way. He said that the culture has to change. Too many guys who are ok with losing. He didn’t say that they weren’t big enough or fast enough (although many aren’t) but he did say that they aren’t committed enough to doing what it takes to win. Having said that, we are not talented enough and he is going to fix that too.

Honestly, I’m a little nervous about that after the intro. He’s 100% correct. But damn.

If you say that, you have to follow through and bring in better players, which Embree didn’t. You also have to have credibility as a coach, which Embree didn’t.

The changes to the transfer portal make me far less sympathetic to keeping kids around. For better or worse, it is more cutthroat now. Buffs we're victimized by it last year

You could probably leave out the Losers part. Just because some of them aren't good enough to play in the in the power 5 doesn't make them losers.

I think they now have the opportunity to show it to the new coach. I won’t lie. That was hard to watch. I felt empathy for the kids who were in that room. They’ve been through a lot. But I think he’s setting the tone. Things have to change. And things are changing.

Yeah. I think the thing I liked most is that the culture change starts now. Like, right ****ing now. I think we need that.
