Ivy League schools will finally participate in the FCS playoffs. They do have the automatic qualifier and it'll be fun to see how many Ivy League schools make the FCS playoff cut every year.

Of the final four teams, three are from the Missouri Valley Conference, and one from the Big Sky. Last year two were Missouri Valley, one from the Big Sky, and the fourth, Albany lost 59-0 in the semi-finals to a Missouri Valley team.

We can't know for sure but I'd guess that CSU in the Missouri Valley would lose at least 4 games, good chance Boise loses 2.

First time poster, long time lurker on the board.

I'm a Northern Iowa alum, but have been a Buffs fan (from afar) for the last 15 years or so (randomly fell in love with Folsom & Ralphie playing one of the old NCAA Football video games growing up).

UNI football has fallen on hard times over the past 10-15 years (haven't had the funds to keep up with the Dakota schools), but I can give first hand experience that the MVFC is an absolute juggernaut conference in the FCS. Colorado State would have struggled against NDSU, SDSU, and South Dakota this season, no doubt.
