Keep an eye on the condoms
I'm not saying this kind of thing has no chance of happening, but this dude is a moron and makes it up as he goes. I believe he's the one who suggesting Colorado would be going to the B1G last year

Chuck Neinas take on the current landscape of CFB. His takes:
1. B1G & SEC media rights will screw up everything.
2. There will be a middle class in CFB and it is obvious the Big 12, Pac-12, and ACC will be in it.
3. 12 team playoffs will happen.
4. The Big 12 will not fold and praised the additions of BYU, Cinncinnati, UCF, and Houston.
5. Nebraska & Missouri's moves questioned...should have stayed in the Big 12. Texas A&M departure weakened the Big 12. CU has zero relevance in this ordeal.

ACC has to be in panic mode.
The conference may be gaining optimism given that ND isn't part of these reports, but I think they'll at risk to soon join the B1G (I always have been, this only increases the likelihood IMO). Priority #1 for Greensboro in circling the wagons has to be flipping ND to full membership. Chances of PSU moving are now lower than ever... I'd love to take WVU.
We'll see if the rumors of a handshake agreement between ND and the ACC over the 2020 football season amount to anything.
I'd add Duke as the 4thThe ACC has three schools who add something.

1. I was assuming your 3 were UNC, FSU and Miami. who are your three?Basketball does not matter or you'd have to include their siamese twin UNC.
Clemson. Yeah. He’s talking about Clemson.1. I was assuming your 3 were UNC, FSU and Miami. who are your three?
2. disagree basketball doesn't matter. it's not at the money level of football, but it does matter. the tourney generates $1b/year.

Wake Forest?Dude, there's this sport called football, or gridiron or American football, it's immensely popular in this country called United States and generates an amount of money that neither of us can really imagine. In the ACC there's a school that's won six straight conference championships and has appeared in the most important game in this sport called football 4 times recently, winning two. Who could I be referring to? And how mad would I have to be to leave them out when I believe this is just about solely driven by football?
I was assured UNC was the crown jewel.Clemson. Yeah. He’s talking about Clemson.
I think Clemson is overvalued by a lot of people. They only add value to the SEC when they're on their recent run. On average, they may be less valuable than a program like West Virginia which at least gets them into a new geography.Clemson. Yeah. He’s talking about Clemson.
I don’t necessarily disagree, but it was pretty obvious to me what Jens was referring to.I think Clemson is overvalued by a lot of people. They give zero fvcks about anyone else. Texas brought Oklahoma to maintain its key rivalry through a school that didn't hurt its wallet & probably helped. UCLA was the same for USC. Beyond that, it wasn't in their interest to pull anyone else. It's clear Texas, Oklahoma, and USC have been thinking of bolting their conferences for some time. I'm kinda surprised they did not try to coordinate a top-tier exodus of PAC12-Big12 schools, and maybe loop in Notre Dame. Imagine a conference with those heavyweights at the top. CU of course still manages to get left out.
Agreed, but they must know they will be nothing but a middling team lost in the SEC. Seems they could have attempted to engineer a scenario where they were a top dog calling the shots. They give zero fvcks about anyone else. Maybe UCLA. USC believes they can and should be the clear top dog among any group of college programs. That's their expectation.Agreed, but they must know they will be nothing but a middling team lost in the SEC. What amount of actual money could this conference/league actually generate per school? Might be a nice package for Hulu or Netflix or Paramount?I could see a conference with no blue bloods like a Big 12/Pac 12 merger that has a similar level of competitive balance and parity and becomes a highly entertaining brand as a tier 2 conference.
