Yeah you're right. I don't. Care to enlighten me, Tucker fanboy?
You cannot separate what you saw on the field today and the concerns over two recruiting classes with this staff. I don't know how to help you.
Yeah you're right. I don't. Care to enlighten me, Tucker fanboy?
Mel Tucker is a good head coach? Really?
The point is that it’s a reflection of disfunction, which if I’m not mistaken, is the point you’ve been making all along.don’t blame the guy in charge for hiring someone not qualified for the job. Blame the fact that the guy in charge shouldn’t be in charge at all. That makes sense
This is pretty much right. He was promoted beyond his abilities.Re: Chiv, the blame does NOT fall on him.
This is what happens when you recruit assistants and allow them to have leverage, and then lose a good HC coach at an inopportune time, and you’re forced to scramble to fill the HC spot. Guys end up with jobs that are above their head.
he focused on recruiting and we had our best talent come into the program in the last, oh, 15 years or so. maybe more.Mel Tucker is a good head coach? Really?
Hahaha really? He certainly knows how to recruit. As for coaching that's TBD
A bad head coach can hire good coordinators. Example A: Hawkins and Peterson. Example B: Helton and Harrell. Dorrell is at fault for promoting Chev. Full stop. The point is that it’s a reflection of disfunction, which if I’m not mistaken, is the point you e been making all along.

Hahaha so why can't Clayton see the field here? Is that on Dorrell? You cannot separate what you saw on the field today and the concerns over two recruiting classes with this staff. I don't know how to help you.
How high are you?Hahaha really?
Find me a game he's won that he shouldnt haveYet to be determined. Two weeks through his second year, looks like he could be.
Wish I knew the answer to that, I asked about it. Doesn't make sense to me.What the actual **** happened to the zone reads?
So you have no counter then. Cool.
KD took the job under the condition that Chiv was his OC, no? Directed by who?A bad head coach can hire good coordinators. Example A: Hawkins and Peterson. Example B: Helton and Harrell. Dorrell is at fault for promoting Chev. Full stop.
What do you think? How high are you?
Agree with most things here that that was just full blown disappointment.
But one of my favorite things on this board is laughing with y’all at the utter incompetence of amateur football for all but a few teams in the general thread week to week. It legitimately happens every week. Think it’s a little silly to say aTm is massively overrated because they struggled with us. I saw a lot of NFL talent on their team and we fought hard to keep it a game. It happens. Iowa State got Ferentz’d at home!
Yeah you can't think outside the box.
Hahaha really?
No counter. Typical.
Sweet! Got a counter point or you gonna go back to typical AB groupthink?
I assumed the answer Duff ultimately pointed out was evident enough not to have to say? I didn't know we were entrenched in a high school debate conversation. And this staff recruited how much of that talent on the field today?
Is that not the conversation everyone is having already? Not the point. It's lazy butthurt groupthink because you think we settled with Dorrell. Play calling is the conversation we need to be having right now
Michigan.Find me a game he's won that he shouldnt have
Yeah you can't think outside the box.
Hahaha so why can't Clayton see the field here? Is that on Dorrell?
Yeah we are. But To answer your initial question, it wasn’t on condition he was OC, it was on condition he was retained. No clue why KD thought it necessary to promoteKD took the job under the condition that Chiv was his OC, no? Directed by who?
EDIT: Never mind. We’re on the same page
Sweet! Got a counter point or you gonna go back to typical AB groupthink?
Really now? Talent didn't lose that game. Coaching did. It's more lazy groupthink.
No counter. Typical.
exactly. clayton played a lot. more than he would have had jarek not gotten hurt. jarek and alex are, right now, better backs. clayton shows flashed to be great but he isn't there yet.Huh?
We did Settle with Dorrell, there is no argument around it. Might it work out? Maybe. Maybe not. But make no mistake, CU Settled for him.Not the point. It's lazy butthurt groupthink because you think we settled with Dorrell. Play calling is the conversation we need to be having right now
