Other games 10/3 - 10/5

Really hard to get a good read on the Big 12 week to week.
Especially applies to the B12 but overall hard to get a read on college football this year.

With as much player movement as we have seen a lot of teams aren't what we expected them to be. Also a lot of unpredictability.

Even some games that haven't been upsets have been much closer than expected.

In the opening post of this thread I expected Penn State to put it to UCLA. They still won but I'm shocked it was only a 16 point margin, and that is only one example.

BS interference call there. Not even the BJ’s call. He should’ve been watching elsewhere. Refs are weak.

Really don’t understand why Michigan didn’t bring in an actual good QB.
Michigan hasn't exactly been known as QB U. JJ McCarthy was good enough to put himself in the 1st round but they never emphasized him. They have had a few more guys who got looks in the pros but for a program that has had that much success on the field they have never seemed to prioritize the QB position. Even Brady way back ended up as a 6th rounder who most expected little out of.

They have a typical B1G mindset. Grind opponents with a massive OL and talented RBs only throwing as a compliment to the running attack and the defense.

tOSU in contrast has emphasized the QB for a number of years and their high scoring offenses have helped them recruit explosive players at other positions.
