That's the part I don't like. If you want to back up the kickoff, I won't bat an eye.If you think it’s a horrible rule than you think all taunting is a horrible rule. Horn’s was blatant taunting. The removal of a TD is the real awful part of the rule
It does beg the question whether they are actually among the top 10-12 programs in the country, though. It’s a true “deserving” vs “best” debateSucks that their final statement will be against Purdue
But it happened during the play. Can’t treat that different than other “during play” penalties. If you think it’s a horrible rule than you think all taunting is a horrible rule. Horn’s was blatant taunting. The removal of a TD is the real awful part of the rule
Meh. The buffs went on to score and win the game easily. I really don’t get why everyone is still so riled up about thisThat's the part I don't like. If you want to back up the kickoff, I won't bat an eye.
Why not?But it happened during the play. Can’t treat that different than other “during play” penalties.
For me, it's the principle not the outcome of the specific play.Meh. The buffs went on to score and win the game easily. I really don’t get why everyone is still so riled up about this
So we’ll hear about that one play the rest of the year? For me, it's the principle not the outcome of the specific play.
Let's say your DL got a hurry and got a hit on the QB which forced a pick 6... and then you found out the TD was taken off the board because the DL stood over the QB with his arms crossed after the hit. I would hate that. Why not?
Year? Oh you sweet summer child. So we’ll hear about that one play the rest of the year?
Sure it can. It had no affect on the success of the play like every other penalty might. But it happened during the play. Can’t treat that different than other “during play” penalties.
Let’s flip it the other way. All during the play penalties get marked from result of play. TDs included. I vote for that. Why not?
10-2 Tenn >>>> 11-1 Indiana.Indiana doesn't deserve to be in the playoff. A bunch of wins against crap teams and getting blown out by the only good team you play isn't a resume that should be honored, no matter what conference you play in.
10-2 Tenn >>>> 11-1 Indiana.
These are JMU kids. Good folks. Not at this level of football.
Indiana has 89 total yards.
Yep. I bet Tenn would be 7ish point fav.TBH, their resume isn't a TON better, but it is better, even if they lost to Arky. More importantly, after today, the eye test most definitely favors Tennessee.
I would be morally opposed to moving Georgia (UMass), Tennessee (UTEP) or Alabama (Bye after Mercer last week) above Indiana in the CFP ranks.
Ugh...not the way anyone wanted this morning to go if you're sick of the SEC deserves all the spots noise.
I scored front row tickets to VT MBB at Wake once. Wife and I sit down wearing our finest orange and maroon.
Again, no. A holding call at the LOS that allows an 80 yard TD run or pass should be marked from the spot of the penalty because it probably had a material impact on the success of the play.Let’s flip it the other way. All during the play penalties get marked from result of play. TDs included. I vote for that.
Fine to the university. No impact on the play. Done.Let’s flip it the other way. All during the play penalties get marked from result of play. TDs included. I vote for that.
I remember when we were trying to convince ourselves that the Pac 12 getting the CW as a media partner was going to be a big win because they own so many local tv stations or somethingThe CW network coverage is PAC12 unwatchable
They're just getting started as a sports broadcaster. Give it a few years and it will be no different than watching a game on NBC.The CW network coverage is PAC12 unwatchable
