Simple, Baylor is a better team than us right now. They have much better running game, and Kansas has to sell out to stop the run which opens so many vertical passing games for Baylor. Two of their early TDs are simple slot fade pass.kansas gave up 600 yards, losing 45 - 17 to bailer. bailer only scored 3 in the final quarter, so they were likely cruising, clearing the bench.
it's hard to find a good explanation for us losing to them, the way we did
Kansas' entire season of self-worth came down to beating us. This isn't hard, people.Simple, Baylor is a better team than us right now. It's amazing how much running game will help your passing game.
They won two other top 25 teams before beating us.Kansas' entire season of self-worth came down to beating us. This isn't hard, people.
fifyThe Big 12 is a weak to weak conference.
Boise State is top 10 and we would destroy them. But your point is well taken.fify
B12 is a very competitive conference top to bottom but it doesn't have any teams that are dominant or complete teams. Every team has weaknesses, no team is good enough to go out and dominate every game through the season.
The Buffs were far better than two years ago, notable better than last year but still lacked an effective running game and had obvious weaknesses in the second level having problems with the short crossing passing game and problems stopping physical running backs and QBs who were effective improvisational runners.
If Primes third portal class comes close to matching what he looks to be doing with HS recruiting then CU may become a dominant team in the league.
I love the Buffs and would love to see them in the playoff but honestly which top 5 team do we think the Buffs would even have a chance to upset, which top 10 team would we not be overmatched against.
and only beat Wyoming, a team CSU beat by 14, by 4.I am sure we would destroy a team that lost to the #1 team in the nation by a FG.
We would beat them by 21I am sure we would destroy a team that lost to the #1 team in the nation by a FG.
We might. We would beat them by 21
We might.
Considering that Devon Neil (KU) had over 200 against us, Tahj Brooks (TTU) had over 130, Cincinnati averaged over 5 yards a carry, Giddens (KSU) had 182, I don't know how much dominating we would do against a team that has a solid pass defense and some guy named Jeanty carrying the ball.
Boise is a MWC team but they aren't devoid of talent and they are well coached. We didn’t sell out to stop the run against Neal
We would against Jeanty.
Transitive property is meaninglessI am sure we would destroy a team that lost to the #1 team in the nation by a FG.
ISU and K State lost to them tookansas gave up 600 yards, losing 45 - 17 to bailer. bailer only scored 3 in the final quarter, so they were likely cruising, clearing the bench.

Yeah...in week one.I am sure we would destroy a team that lost to the #1 team in the nation by a FG.
Yes we would. Oregon would beat them by 21+ right now. And Oregon ain’t great at the moment.I am sure we would destroy a team that lost to the #1 team in the nation by a FG.
Run defense is mid? Brother, cmon. Our run defense is mid and our running game is spotty at best. We don’t belong in the CCG. We are exactly where we belong. Our weaknesses would be magnified in the CFP.
We’d beat BSU by 14+. Jeanty would get his 145 and 2, but the rest of that team couldn’t stay with us. Those are facts. And facts backed by coaches who have faced them.Boise is a MWC team but they aren't devoid of talent and they are well coached.
Sell out against Jeanty (which other teams have done and still not stopped him) and against our defense they would kill us with their intermediate passing game.
We are a good team, much better than prior years, and on the way to being an elite team but we aren't that yet. Assuming we would dominate against any quality team is not a safe thing yet.
I am sure we would destroy a team that lost to the #1 team in the nation by a FG.
For what? Suggesting that a team that hung with Oregon just might be able to avoid getting destroyed by a team that got their arses handed to them by ****ing Kansas a week ago with a conference title and a playoff berth on the line?
We lost to ****ing Kansas last week, dude.Yeah...in week one.
Boise almost got beat by the mighty Wyoming Cowboys, dude.
That Oregon game is completely meaningless at this point.
You think we'd lose 28-10 to Nebraska right now?
Kansas would beat Boise State by 2 scores. Us beating Boise State right now is not exclusive company. I’d take 8 Big12 teams over them at the moment. We lost to ****ing Kansas last week, dude.
I honestly think Utah would beat them.Kansas would beat Boise State by 2 scores. Us beating Boise State right now is not exclusive company. I’d take 8 Big12 teams over them at the moment.
I think you are delushional.I honestly think Utah would beat them.
They barely handled an MWC schedule without multiple losses.I think you are delushional.
Boise doesn't recruit like a top SEC/B1G team but they recruit like a mid-level P4 team which is overall what we are right now. They are very well coached and get up for the games they need to get up for. As @Jens1893 has clearly pointed out, we don't.
Should we beat Boise? Yes. Are we clearly better? No, and if we come in thinking that they are going to roll over for us we would get our backsides handed to us.
If Boise got dropped in and had to play a B12 schedule they would probably end up around .500. They don't have the depth of talent to go week after week. Give them one off games against B12 schools and they would win more than they lose.
