Other Games 8/28-9/1

At this point of the OSU - Texas game, I want Texas' stats to be as bad as possible.... I want this to be a shut out.

There is no way that Arch can be in the Heisman conversation if he gets shut out in week 1.

nevermind. Damn- almost picked!

He appears to prefer throwing into double coverage. Seem weird to me ...
He looks to be locking on to his receiver and trying to force the ball regardless of the coverage. tOSU has figured out what they are trying to do, almost like they know what the play is going to be, not that a B1G program would even do something to know what is coming.

And not saying the Buckeyes are copying Michigan, this Texas offense up until this series has been very predictable.

I still believe that Arch will have a good season and Texas will make the playoffs. But this is an absolutely disgusting performance today by him.
I agree with you only if he is mentally strong. Up until this season, he has NEVER had to be mentally strong. He had no pressure last year when he played and he was physically superior than everybody in HS.

This is his test. So far, he isn't passing.

Arch will get 1 more shot at this. Either way, Kaidon Salter IS going to have a statistically better week than Arch Manning. Who woulda thought?

Think the 4th down pass was more on the receiver.
Receiver had the ball on his hands so you can say yes he should have caught it but the pass forced him to stretch out after it and extend. He was open and the pass didn't need to be out there, there was room to put the ball on him for a much easier catch.

If tOSU blows this and let's Texas come back and win the media attention to Arch is going to be ridiculous, even though he hasn't been good most of the day.
