Other Games 9/19 - 9/21

There's no place like Nebraska.

Watching Nebraska lose made my night, love it

But, both NE and ILL had some great offensive play design and great BALANCE. Our offense is high school compared to those playbooks. I hope to see more creativity going forward cause the comparison is not even close.

Altmeyer was very good

That was some extreme dumbassery! 😂

(For those not reading this right away, Wash St. got a pick in OT. They only needed a FG for the win. They run it once and then throw a pick. Still got the win in 2OT, though.)

Fun to watch the fuskers have victory choked out of them at the last moment.

Only negative is that now for at least the next year and beyond we will hear them crying about how the refs didn't throw a flag on Illinois for touching their ballcarrier near the sideline. To them there is always some narrative explaining why they lost other than admitting that they just suck.

They will never admit that the loss had anything to do with leaving a lane for the blitzers to the QB that Mike Mangino could have waddled through. Never admit that their QB who thinks he is Mahomes moves about as quickly as Mobile Homes (a subject the fuskers can relate to.) Never admit that they were beaten by a dull, stodgy offense that relied on a power running game dominating between the tackles (something the fuskers think they are but haven't been for decades.) And never admit that their coach Fatt Rhule was outcoached by a guy who's coaching strategy is about as creative as the game plan for a bowling match (again something fuskers can relate to.) Rhule continues to look like the kid in high school who is 3 inches shorter than everyone else, eats twice as much, and needs to be reminded to take a shower and change clothes.

I don't like Michigan at all but as long as they keep playing the like of Texas and USC.....GO BLUE!

Waiting for a buddy to show up whose helping me with a home project, flipping through channels looking for a game of interest.

A little surprised at myself that Cincy / Houston qualified.

Didn't think the early games held a lot of interest but seeing Marshall giving tOSU a game wasn't expected. Eventually the depth and talent of the Buckeyes will make the score look lopsided but that won't reflect the start of the game.

Meanwhile who would have thought that the James Madison / North Carolina game would be an offensive explosion with 39 points in the first quarter and JMU ahead. UNC just scored again to bring it within a score at 25-21. Defenses stayed home.

We all like to slum with a little Conference USA from time-to-time. Don't be too hard on yourself - there's not a lot of good games going.

North Carolina's defense definitely did.....

Holy ****. How do you give up 53 in less than a half?

Indiana’s pretty frickn good.

On a related note, how in the hell does any AD hire Biff Poggi?

That illegal crack back block call in the Florida game was silly. Florida guy was standing there and the defender was sprinting at him. Not his fault the guy was blind.
