In 2015, they were a legitimate playoff contender.
That's not the standard for Stanford.

Tied with ASU fans I think, but equally glad to see them brought back to Earth. Not sure where the ASU arrogance comes form either.

Sheep eating their own since they don't have us to focus their hatred on this year.
I agree with the UW fans assessment about amnesia and arrogance. They think they are football and basketball bluebloods, even though they haven't done anything the Buffs haven't done, recent history excluded. And their recent history isn't all that hot. And Jimmy Lake might be one of the biggest frauds out there. His arrogance trickles down to the fans, who actually believe it when he says they have the best O line in the country, and ZTF is some kind of self healing medical miracle who will come back from an Achilles tear 3 months faster than anyone else in history.
It would be nice if we could.I don't know about the rest of you-but I don't give a **** about CSU or any of their teams. Can we stop wasting so much time talking about them?
I had to remind a couple ASU fans last night on twitter that we've owned them the last few years.
Have we lost to them since taking measures against HC Graham's spygate cheating?I had to remind a couple ASU fans last night on twitter that we've owned them the last few years.
I think we did in 2017.Have we lost to them since taking measures against HC Graham's spygate cheating?

Unfortunately they are the other state FBS program in the state.. We tend to be surrounded by their fans at work and in our social settings.
They tend to be much more interested in seeing us fail than themselves having real success, probably because that hope is increasingly unrealistic.
As much as we know they aren't on our level we still have to acknowledge that we get some of our biggest crowds when we play them, football, basketball, or other sports.

USC fans aren't seeiing UCLA grads every time they buy a bag of French friesUSC fans do not act in such a silly fashion around UCLA fans. Be a man, act like a man, do not act like a silly child and roll around on the ground with the children. If you concern yourself with CSU than become CSU.

No there aren’t.CSU is just in a bad spot right now and I think this isn't going to be their season...their volleyball team lost at UNC recently. I think the relations between both ADs aren't too hot either after that soccer stunt and it's a good time to take a break from that rivalry. Things can get a lot better in two years when both teams are scheduled to play in football again. They might have a new energy with a new coach & AD by that time.
There are other teams beside CU, CSU, and AFA in this state that are brimming with some excitement & intrigue.

I'm just going to let CSU go for now and watch other CO schools and that soon could include CU. Thanks for sharing about those D2 schools in this state.

A couple of quick over-reactions to week 1 and the only top teams which didn't show many signs of missing a beat were Bama and tOSU, and even tOSU had some issues in the first half. Best players/units that stood out were Olave, Will Anderson and the Georgia DL.
OSU sputtered in the first half a bit-but looked like themselves in the second. Bama was Bama. UCLA was solid last night-but the one team who stood out to me was Texas watching that yesterday afternoon.
Irish starting on fire so far. I had no idea the QB Coan from Wisconsin transferred to ND.
Texas is back!
