Other Games - Week 1 - FIVE STRAIGHT DAYS OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL

Cal at North Carolina.

I'm very curious to see what style Cal now plays and whether they suck.

Do you guys want my weekly "Other games this week" threads I've done the last couple years? They are kind of fun to do but take some time in a busy schedule. Was trying to decide this week if I should do one.
 
So today's games I (we?) care about:

  • Maryland vs. Texas right now- Texas is 23rd. If they lose it'll open a spot in the top 25. Tied 7 all.
  • WSU vs. Montana State tonight- WSU should roll. Ranked 24th. As much as I would like them to lose to open up another top 25 spot, it's probably better for PAC 12 if the conference has as few OOC losses as possible.
  • Cal vs. UNC right now- back the PAC
  • OSU vs. Portland State- back the PAC, part 2. Plus if they destroy PSU it makes CSU's win look better especially since PSU hung pretty tough with BYU last week.
  • Houston Baptist vs. Texas State- Next Week's opponent kicks off their slate today
  • Oregon vs. Southern Utah- Back the PAC, part 3 (although I hope Southern Utah scores a billion points.
  • Arizona vs. NAU- Back the PAC, part 4
  • nubs vs. Arky State- HATEWATCH
  • Bama vs. FSU- should be a good game. hopefully.
 
Texas does not look like a top 25 team. That Oline is going to get the QB killed this year. Maryland getting pressure rushing 3??
 
Some of these overrated teams who magically appeared in the top 25 because of their name like Texas and Miami need to lose and get the Buffs in there where they left off

Woulda Kinda like to see #24 Wazzu get embarrassed tonight against Montana state. The pirate is typically good for one of those every year.
