Predictions for RMS

We heard on Monday that he would be in on Tuesday. I don't think he is making it.

That's what I don't understand about all this. There were rumors he would be in pads on Monday, then for sure it was Tuesday... now he will be out there today. What's the holdup?

They back the corner on one side, what does that tell you about the coverage? U seem to know about football somewhat.

Youre not winning, be man enough to respond. He backed off about a second before the snap, tyler missed it, yet he was a bitch.
CSU fans need to start calling ICC stat. That's the only thing that will work.

Thomas Coffman WR for CSU is out with abdominal surgery. Don't know if he is a projected starter. I feel for the kid. That can't be fun.

McElhawk invited the band to practice today so the players could learn the fight song

He played 12 games last year as a RS Freshman. He had 8 catches for 210 yards and a TD. Also had one rush for 17 yards.

What? All those fine upstanding bleed green and gold lambs don't sing themselves to sleep with that song every night?

True story under Coach Mac we had to learn it before we left camp as freshmen, and had to sing it for the vets 2 or 3 times before we were approved.

Is he going to become the CSU version of PT Gates, the JC guy who is always just on the edge of getting in and never does.

Glad you brought this up. Gates has finally been cleared and will be at practice tomorrow.

Ramnation claiming they've got confirmation that he is enrolled - but we've been hearing that for a week or so now

5% increase over last season

This is why I think their president and other might be rethinking the stadium plan. They have a lot of hype (maybe just from CSU fans and their BFF Phil Steele) but they still can't get butts in the seats?

Their fan base has to show CSU that they will support the team no matter what. That is what will get them a new stadium and Big East invite. Nothing else will.

Also sounds like the rams have only sold 4.7k in season tickets

I've always gotten the impression that their season ticket sales reflect how confident CSU fans are that they will beat Colorado. So I am guessing not that confident.

Coffman, the kid who had to have surgery on his gut (sounds like appendix removal) was also their returner.

I think this is why the Prez decided to wait until October now to make a decision. Wants to see how the first part of the season goes. They come out and look bad they may never build another stadium. How in the world do you hire a new coach from Alabama and a grand total of 250 new season tickets are sold.

Yeah - it has to be a concern. They dropped a ton of cash on Sparkles, they have been pushing a new stadium, they've been getting more press, and positive press as of late, then they've received in years.... yet the season where they need people to really show up, and it isn't happening. It should be a big red flag.

The one thing they have going for them is that their schedule is ridiculously easy. They could conceivably win a bunch of games against awful competition and build up tons of good press and ignite fan passion. The flip side of that is none of those teams are a draw to go to a game at Hughes, and losing to more than a few of them could just deepen the crater they're in.

I don't see them beating NDSU. (Which really sucks cause I'm more confident that NDSU beats them than I am that we will beat them) If they lose to CU and then NDSU they are really going to be hurting.

I see losses at CU, Air Force, Fresno, San Diego, Boise

Potential losses at San Jose, Hawaii, Wyoming, North Dakota State

Wins against UNLV, UNM, Utah State

The conference gets even worse next year when SDSU and Boise leave

I would move Utah State to the "Potential loss" category - those guys are an enigma, but in general I agree with this.

Hawaii I'm actually close to giving CSU a 'should win,' if CSU was the second weekend of a mainland trip for the Warriors I definitely would - but it's the first game after a bye week for Hawaii, so 'potential loss' sounds about right.

Ultimately they could go anywhere from 2-10 to 6-6 and I wouldn't really be surprised.
