He didn't talk to the crowd but he interacted with them a lot. He had a lot of conversations on camera with the broadcast crew.

When he was doing TV he was pretty good at it and his experience on the other side of the mike is apparent, He is very good at communicating the message he wants to get out while managing what is going on around him. He always seems to be thinking steps ahead of where he is yet comes across as entirely focused on the moment and the person he is talking with.

It seemed to me live like some players were late to the huddle and Prime just said, nope we are going with the guys we have out there. I could be wrong but the first time was when 77 was running on and tripped over some grass. 🤣 poor guy.

I like that they didn’t. That would have just played into the hands of the detractors. Plus, a bunch of times when he was being interviewed he ran off to actually go coach mid sentence.

What I really liked is how well the 1st team ran compared to some of the other spring games I’ve seen - UF, Auburn, FSU, etc. MFers couldn’t complete a pass.
 
I believe there has been talk of Shedeur not having that strong of an arm while being extremely accurate. Maybe that is true from an NFL prospect perspective, but what I saw today was a stronger arm than I have seen at CU in a decade.

The game in person was awesome. I got pushed/stuck into parking on the roof of the parking garage east of the Eng Bldg. I left when the 2nd half moved to 7 on 7 to not spend an hour getting out of the garage. That mostly worked - I wasn't alone in that idea.

I've since watched the replay. Mrs. Highlander thought that was the funniest thing ever "Didn't you JUST see this in person?!?" and now I'm watching the 30 on 30.

I haven't been this excited for CU football since the B2B NC competing seasons while also noting special teams are a train wreck and the lines need some major, major upgrades.

We comin'!
