Spring Practice/Game

And payday loans have a lot more interest than I do for the Buffs right now.

I read the article in the BDC this morning and I just got to say, KD is the least inspiring human I’ve ever seen in a position of leadership. I did not see this ruse but he admits that if he’d allowed the penalty yardage then the offense would have been zip.

but our defense! 0-12.
That’s a D dominating a poor O with multiple starters missing.

I agree.

Oddly, I’ve been quite happy with the Pac-12 network games over the past few years, because I get my Saturdays free. I can get a nice long run or ride in during the day, knowing our games won’t be scheduled during prime time. Then I can just watch it live with Mark and Coach on audio instead of the Pac12 commentators, or record and zip through the bad parts (get done with a game in an hour or so).

It’s actually been surprisingly nice to not worry about our games enough to have them affect my weekends any more.
Been there since year four of Hawk Love baby.

I didn't see the spring game. People are saying it's bad, which I expected, but how bad are we talking? 2012 bad?

The 2012 team had light years better talent than this team. That's dire. But, as much as it pains me to say we may have better coaching this year. Max 3 wins still the call, though
Our hope this year is that other teams somehow manage to be worse than we are. PAC12 has some teams that have big holes in talent and some coaches who are capable of losing to inferior teams.

Unfortunately we may be at the top of both list but we may get a couple wins gifted to us.

Yeah, that’s how we’ll get our 3. Our “talent” is the worst I’ve seen in decades.

Ummmm no. Not even close
This team isn’t very good but I feel as if people either didn’t watch any of that 2012 season, or just following some weird mob mentality.

The worst part is even arguing this makes my head hurt. Two not good teams, but one team that is arguably the worst team this program has ever had.

At first blush, you can count 10-12 players from the 2012 team that hit NFL rosters. This team has maybe 2-3. It will be a good debate when this year's starters are locked in.
You’re looking at young guys that were on the team but didn’t start or even play much. The starters were terrible outside of a couple guys like Crawley, Henderson and Spruce, and honestly, Crawley probably the only significant upgrade of those 3 over what we currently have.

They were a 1-11 team that probably should have been 0-12. It was the worst CU team in history and I keep hearing CFB is all about the “Jimmie’s and Joes”, so the idea that team had more talent doesn’t reconcile.
